Principal's Office

"You're doing a great job. I respect your refusal. If you are in need of something. Don't hesitate to come", the principal said while facing the other direction. He's watching the students playing on the school oval.

"Thank you very much", Airi bowed. "We're having another Sports Festival. I am looking forward but let me know if there's something I can do. Especially with my son", he turned to face Airi. "We appreciate the thought", Airi raised her head and went out.

She saw someone biting off his nails. "Did he mention anything about not letting me join?", Luffy asked anxiously. "Your prayers must have been heard", Airi answered.

Hallway

"President. What are the games this year? Is it just like last year?", the students were intrigued. "Oh, about that. For the finale-", Luffy was cut by Ussop running towards their direction and covering Luffy's mouth. "Airi worked so hard for it and you're spoiling it!", Ussop lectured. "I heard it'll be raining this afternoon. I'm worried about the Sports Festival", Chopper sighed. "No worries, Chopper. Nami's weather predictions are accurate", Airi assured.

Class 2-1

"Airi, I heard you got a recommendation from an overseas university", Coby said with excitement. "I...", looking at his glittering eyes, how could she break his heart when he was always pestering her about how to get an overseas recommendation. "I'm still considering", Airi lied. Coby narrated his imagination of going all around the world.

Vivi looked at Airi intently. "Are you sure?", she said with a suspicious look. "I haven't visited the office for a long time. Maybe I'll give you some time", Vivi winked. "Come to think of it. Vivi, why did you quit student council? You were last year's vice president, right?", Coby brought out. Vivi was taken back by the question. She was amazed how Coby could boldly ask the question in the presence of Airi. That just shows how he's pure and without malice. "Hey, don't go asking people about their decision", Kohza heard it and went in between the two. "I really knew it was a position for Airi", Vivi chuckled. Kohza sweat dropped.

Bon Clay entered. "Okay, everybody! We need to learn English. Are you ready?!", he said with his always upbeat tone.

Cafeteria

"I see. That's why Nami and the rest are frantically making countermeasures on how to control Luffy", Nico sipped through her coffee. "I know they'll give another Superrrr exciting show", Franky nodded. "Oh, Trafalgar-san. Why don't you join us in our coffee break", Brook called out to the man carrying some boxes.

"Are those Marco's old stuff?", Robin noticed. Trafalgar also sat with the group. "How do you find the school setting?", Brook looked at his annoyed expression. "It's noisy", he answered. "Of course", Robin chuckled. "By the way, is there any way for me to know where the previous school nurse lives?", Trafalgar looked at the box. "Oh, what if you go there with Isobe-san? I bet she also wanted to see Marco", Brook remembered. "Isobe?", Trafalgar remembered writing on Airi's medical form. "Regarding that student-", Trafalgar was about to say something when Franky's robot came to serve them cream puffs. "I hate bread", Trafalgar said then went on to finish his supposed tasks.

Outside the School Building

Airi looked at the rain falling. "Areh? Don't you have student council things to do?", Vivi stood beside her. "Regarding Coby's question...", Airi looked at the lady beside her.

"It's fun being in the student council, right? Well, it's tiring and yet you'll decide to stay for various reasons", Vivi put her hands on the back. "I was supposed to study somewhere else. That's why I never considered rejoining the council this year. But then, Luffy taught me something very important", Vivi smiled and placed her hand on Airi's shoulder. "I do regret not re-joining this year but I'm glad you're the one who took the position", Vivi chuckled. "After the school fest will be summer vacation. I believe Luffy will continue being the president. This time around, you can ask him to have you back as the vice president", Airi averted her stares. "Not buying that. Don't tell me you want to quit already", Vivi slapped her back.

"It's raining! Let's go and run under the rain!", Luffy and the rest suddenly appeared. They started to do so. "Vivi, Airi, come one and join us!", Luffy smiled so wide.

It's unlike me to do such childish things.

Someone pushed Airi's back. She turned and saw Robin.

But every once in a while, I find myself enjoying childishness.

Train Station

"We're all drenched. I guess I have to call Pell not to fetch me anymore", Vivi made some distance. "Luffy and I have the same way heading home. We'll go this way", Nami waved her hand.

"Then, I'll be visiting Kaya in the hospital", Ussop pointed in the opposite direction. "I'll tag along",Chopper raised his hand. "Then, I'll walk Vivi home", Sanji has a heart in his eyes.

Zoro and Airi rode the train. "Then, are we going to have a sparing using real swords this year?", Zoro opened the topic. "I bet you need to become the president yourself if you would like that to happen", Airi sighed.

"By the way, are you eating well lately? You're losing fat", Zoro noticed. "I am", Airi nodded. "You know President really cares for us. He doesn't want anyone getting sick", Zoro leaned on the train's wall. "He's just sensitive to people getting sick and...", Zoro stopped when he saw Airi's lonely eyes.

The next day,

Clinic

"Achoo!".

Airi opened the cabinet and picked up some medicine. She read them and searched on her phone. "That's only for headaches. If you want your colds to get well. Go and get some rosemary in your greenhouse. Boil it and drink", Trafalgar crossed his arms while seated on the chair. "I don't want to bother Chopper or his greenhouse", Airi picked another one. "Have you already visited the hospital? Your immune system seems to be affected by your condition", Trafalgar leaned on the table with one of his long arms.

"I'm not sick", Airi finally found the right medicine and was about to put it in her mouth but Trafalgar held onto her wrist. "So thin", he commented. "I'll go get the herb. Don't you dare drink any of those", Trafalgar shot a glare. It sent shivers down her spine.

She sneezed again. Trafalgar left.

Airi noticed another big book. Airi sat on his chair and felt his warmth left on the seat. She saw complicated chemistry problems. She furrowed her brow and tried to do it as well on a blank paper on the side. She just couldn't balance it well. She threw her hands in the air. The new school nurse is the entire opposite of the previous one. The room is too neat and she doesn't have to open it every morning. She heard someone's phone ringing. She looked around and saw Trafalgar's phone. She just looked at the unregistered number.

It rang for the nth time. "What's taking him too long?", Airi felt uncomfortable not answering the phone so she picked it out. "Boy~ what's making you pick up your phone too late?", a seductive woman's voice spoke. Airi went stiff. "I know you're there. Anyways, Doffy wants to see you. You can come home occasionally. We'll be having a get-together with the family. Your presence is required. You know..what..I..mean~ Let's do the usual thing", the call ended and Airi's face is all flustered.

Why in the world did she answer it anyways?

The door slid open. She saw Trafalgar carrying a cup of tea. "I already brewed it", he passed it to the lady. He saw her holding his phone. "Did someone educate you about-", Trafalgar was interrupted. "I was told not to breach someone's privacy but it rang like 10 times so I thought it was an emergency", Airi's still red. She cannot look at the man's face. Trafalgar took the phone from his hand. "That's my seat", Trafalgar shooed the lady. Trafalgar looked at the unregistered number. "What did she say?", Trafalgar's expression turned different. Airi sipped through the tea. It was bitter. "She said Doffy wants to meet you and... ", Airi decided to leave the last line. "After you finish your tea, leave", Trafalgar flipped the book and saw the paper on the side.

"You should at least register your wife's number", Airi made some connection and assumed his relationship with the one who called. "You calculated wrong", Trafalgar answered. Airi coughed. Its so rare for her to be mistaken.

"You should have placed the other chemical here", Trafalgar raised the paper and pointed to the equation. Airi pouted. "It's a difficult problem", she said under her breath. Trafalgar smirked. The bell rang.

Chapter end.
