Della slowly opened her eyes and looked around. She found herself in a hospital. But what made her heart swell up and put a smile to her face was her three boys, curled up together, asleep, on the small love seat near her bed. Huey and Louie on one side, while Dewey was in the middle being wrapped around by his brothers, as if, protecting him.

It was a sight for a sore heart, and sore eyes, that's for sure.

She made to get up off the bed so that she could get close to them, but she yelped in pain, making the all three boy's eyes snap open and look towards her.

"Mom!" All three of them shouted and rushed over to her and practically squeezed the living daylight put of her, making her gasp out in pain, but she didn't care.

She hugged all three of them back all the same.

"My babies." Della murmured. All four of them pulled away and tears fell from Della's eyes. "Together again." She choked out, and smiled.

"Yeah, well," Dewey said, rubbing the back of his head, and smiling sheepishly back at her, "Your gonna need all the help you can get now that..."

He stopped when Huey nudged him in the arm and quickly darted his head from side to side telling Dewey silently to shut up, and surprisingly Dewey did.

Della raised an eyebrow.

Then, sighed deeply. She had to put a stop to this, secrecy, and it was going to end, with her.

She patted her beside, motioning for all three to join her on it. They did, scrambling up, just like they use to do as kids, and sitting around her. She looked at all three of them, took a deep breath, then began telling them everything.

About Lance, and before they were born...

They listened, not interrupting, but with compassion, understanding, and frowns on their faces when she got to the part about Lance, and why she didn't think twice about leaving when she found out about the Spear of Selene.

Dewey's face morphed into guilt and sadness, Huey's left eye twitching, and Louie's into down right hatred and anger.

"But..." Della added quickly, "That didn't mean I didn't love you three. I did. I still do. I -. I just couldn't deal with the fact that he -. What he was capable of at the time. I was weak back then, and scared of being a mother. Donald, he, he understood but still tried to talk some sense into me from leaving.."

"Mom. You aren't and never were weak." Louie said, suddenly, "If anything, besides Donald, and Scrooge, you are one of the strongest grown-ups we know!" He told her. "Look at what you had to put up with? What you went through?"

Dewey and Huey nodded in agreement.

"T,That means a lot to hear you say that, but -." Della began.

Then the door opened and Donald popped his head in, seeing his sister awake and stable he grinned before coming inside with something in his arms.

Della stared at the two small bundles in his arms.

Twins.

Both girls.

Della blinked, confused, then looked from her sons to Donald who's smiled warmly at her.

"Um. I sorta, couldn't, wait." Donald told his nephews sheepishly seeing the angry looks on their faces. "Della, meet your daughters." He told her.

"D,Daughters?" Della squeaked out.

Then, she remembered, she had went into labor right after they gotten out of the F.O.W.L building.

Donald handed both of them over to Della who cradled them in both her arms, and stared into their sleeping faces. They looked so much like her, and when they opened their eyes they had... blue eyes...Lance's eyes.... But that didn't bother Della as much as she thought it would. The fact that they had opened their eyes she saw her entire world in them, and her smile only grew.
