"How are my girls doing?" Knox entered the room asking, a smile on his face and a bouquet of red roses in his hand.

"Great, " she said, extending her arms to accept his hug. "I was wondering when you'd show."

"Traffic was a bitch, " he said, kissing her softly on the lips before he stooped, lowering himself to Gina's stomach. "Hi baby girl, daddy is here, " he spoke, kissing her rounded belly as he did so.

This part was fairly new to Knox, the whole process of pregnancy he had not experienced before seeing April was three years old when he took her in. He was enjoying every moment of it – they both were and couldn't wait to meet their baby girl who's gender was revealed some months ago at her baby shower.

      "Where's April?" Gina asked.

"Here somewhere with Sally. She's fine, " he reassured her. "She's pretty excited about the whole thing, she's the happiest she's ever been and that's all thanks to you." He said, looking down at her with admiration, a sweet smile on his face.

"Well, thanks to the two of us, " she reasoned.

"This is all you, baby, " he said, not knowing if he could be anymore proud of Gina's growth in the past months. She had changed so much and yet, not really. She still had a touch of rebellious streak; she was still stubborn and feisty but Knox knew she wouldn't be Gina without all those qualities. He was just so incredibly proud of her maturity.

Today she was glowing, he thought. The sylist had placed a minimal amount of make up on her, highlighting her features. Her eyes were big and seemed more expressive and her small mouth was just the perfect picture of lust and beauty. Knox loved looking at her, he loved kissing her, he loved making love to her and taking care of her. His attraction towards her never waned, neither did his love. If anything, Knox figured they had only gotten stronger.

She'd been glowing a lot these days and based on her doctors, the baby would come anytime soon.

He kissed her again, enclosing his arms around a waist that had stretched to accommodate their child. He cupped her jawline with one hand, using his thumb to caress her cheek while he looked at her lovingly.

"Gosh, I love you so much, you have no idea."

Gina smiled. "I do, because I love you so much more."

He grinned. "Impossible, " he said, lowering his lips to hers, savouring in the sweet warmth that exuded between them.

"Sorry to interrupt guys, but Mrs Warner, it's time."

Gina pulled apart and smiled at her assistant. "Thank you, Karen. I'll be there in a sec."

Karen nodded and left, once again leaving Gina and Knox alone. She feighned a sigh and licked her lips nervously.

     "I'm quaking..." She confessed shakily.

"Listen, everything will be fine. You're brilliant, you're a natural...you've got this."

She managed a smile and nodded, as she slowly developed the courage.

"Okay, this is it, " she said, walking towards the stage. "Wish me luck."

He gave her a thumbs up and she smiled, moving the curtains a bit to take a peek at the crowd. There was soft chattering but everyone was waiting in anticipation for her. They were all dressed in suits and elegant dresses, drinking champagne and munching on finger food while she stood there, dressed in a nice maternity dress, wondering if she had what it took to impress them.
