Osoroshī took off. She leaped tree branch to tree branch, her wings starting to open. She neared a clearing, and with a snapping open of her wings, she went airborne. She had a weightless feeling for a few seconds before something slammed into her back. "Oomf!" She huffed out, the weight making to stoop down in the air. Arms wrapped around her, pinning her wings to her sides. "Let go! She hissed, struggling side to side as her and her assaulter plummeted toward the ground. "Not a chance." The person, Kakashi, whispered in her ear, right before they hit the ground. Osoroshī landed in Kakashi, and his breath is knocked out of him. She took that moment to scramble out of his arms, and crawl toward her staff that had rolled away. A hand clamped around her ankle, dragging her backwards. "I said let go!" She exclaimed, kicking out with her feet. Every one of her kicks missed the ninja, but she didn't stop. "Stop it, would you. You're not getting away." His deep voice said. Her fingers grazed her staff, but he jerked her back. "I can, and I will." She snapped at him, and finally managed to kick his chin. He grunts, his head snapping to the side. She lunges forward, her hands wrapping around her staff. A growl came from the man behind, and sudden she found herself staring up into a black eye. He had pinned her on her back, and rolled her staff away. He had both of her wrists above her head, and his knees on either sides of her legs. He was so much bigger than her, that he only had to use one hand to hold both if her arms. "Who are you?" He asked, getting only a exclamation of anger from Osoroshī. His eye narrowed, and his fist tightened. "I said, who are you?" His voice was firmer now, making Osoroshī narrow her eyes in return. "Osoroshī." She spat at him, not bothering to lie. "Osoroshī who?" He said, staring at her raging face, "Karasu." She snapped at him, like it was obvious. His eye widened a fraction. "Kara-" He started, but was interrupted by a loud yell. "Kakashi-Sensei!" Naruto ran into the clearing wildly, followed by three curious companions. Sakura looked at Osoroshī in wonder, her eye wide and her hands clasp on her chest. Sasuke was slouching with his hands in his pockets, but he couldn't hide his hesitant curiosity. Tazuna's eye were wide, and his mouth hanging open. "Kakashi-Sensei, don't hurt her, she's my friend. Believe it!" Naruto yelled, racing towards them. "Stay right there, Naruto. How do you know this girl?" Kakashi asked, his eyes narrowed at his student. "I met her in the forest, she was hurt. I helped her, and we became friends." Naruto said, looking at Kakashi desperately. "She could have been a spy, Naruto. You should have reported it." Kakashi said, his grip loosening. Naruto looked down, scratching the back of his neck. "Yeah... But I'm glad I didn't." He started hesitantly, shamefully, but ended proudly; staring at Kakashi defiantly. Kakashi stood up, dragging Osoroshī with him. He held her off the ground a few inches, by her wrists. She writhed around, kicking out at Kakashi. "Are you sure she is safe?" Kakashi said, disbelievingly. "She hasn't hurt me much. She didn't even know what a ninja was!" Naruto yelled, making the two genin behind him snicker. Osoroshī blushed, then roared in outrage. "Let go of me already, you're going to dislocate my joints!" She snarled, landing a good kick on Kakashi's stomach. He whizzed, and dropped her. He went to grab her again, but she sprung forward to hide behind Naruto. "Savage." She hissed at him over Naruto's shoulder. He sent her a weird look, then walked towards the group. "Alright then, but I'll be keeping an eye on her." He grumbled, rubbing his stomach. Osoroshī snickered at him, setting her chin on Naruto's shoulder with a smug smile. "Osoroshī, are you okay?" Naruto asked, turning her her. "Yeah, I'll be find, Naruto. I'm sorry I got caught." She said guiltily. "It's fine, Osoroshī. Thanks for taking out the other chunin, even though I could have taken him." Naruto said boldly, with a wide grin. Her eyes flick up her his beaming face, and she smiles hesitantly. "Yeah, I know you could have. I just was a little worried." She murmured, hugging him. He stiffened in surprise, then hugged her back. He looked over her shoulder at the four shocked faces of his comrades and Tazuna. He felt smug, proud, even. Sasuke looked the most shocked, his mouth hanging open with a dumb "Huh?" Osoroshī pulled back, sending Naruto a closed eye grin. "Lets go, you have a mission to complete!" She exclaimed, scooping her staff off the ground; then dusting it off. She started forward, Naruto beside her, and brushes past the other four. The team hurts to catch up, still surprised. Naruto had made a friend. A very mysterious, strong, and pretty friend. Sasuke had felt the most shocked. The pretty winged girl hadn't even given him a real look, only suspicious glances. Osoroshī was steering clear of Sasuke, Naruto had warned her about the cold-hearted boy, and the fact that he reminded her of her brothers scary story's didn't help.
Naruto was racing ahead, looking frantically from side to side. Osoroshī trailed behind with the team and Tazuna. She felt extraordinarily uncomfortable. Sasuke was walk to close for it to be casual, Kakashi kept on glancing at her, and she could feel Sakura's frusterated glare on her back. She would try to get farther way from Sasuke, but he would follow; and he ended up trapping her between him and Tazuna. The awkward silence was filled only with Naruto's grunts, and exclamations when he though he found something. Osoroshī almost started panicking when she felt The back if Sasuke's hand brush against her. She was sure by then that he was going to kill her, then eat her; just like in the stories. This was no doubt going to be the longest and scariest day of poor Osoroshī's life.
