"Are those wings?"
"Well, they aren't legs."
Sakura scowls at Osoroshī, her eyebrow twitching."How did you get them?" She says, her teeth clenched.
"I was born with them." Osoroshī says, flexing her wings widely, and almost hitting Sakura in the face with them. Sakura swats the silky raven feather out of her face. "Does everyone in you're clan have them?"
"Well... Yes, actually." Osoroshī waves a dismissive hand.
"What clan are you from?" At this question, Kakashi raises an eyebrow. "The Karasu clan." Osoroshī states proudly, her eyes sparkling.
"Hn." Osoroshī turns her head to look at Sasuke.
"Hn?" She repeats the sound, only it was more of a curious sound.
"What's so great about your clan?" He says, obviously have not missed the pride when she spoke about her clan.
Sakura was quick to pounce on the question. "Yeah, what's so great about your clan!?"
Osoroshī looks at them in amusement, but stays silent. She slowly raised her wings, and stretches them out to their full length. "Jee guys, I don't really know."
Sakura's face turns red, and Sasuke looks annoyed. Osoroshī could have swore she had seen Kakashi looking amused, but she couldn't be sure.
"Other than that!""Well... I turn into a massive demon raven, does that count?" Osoroshī says, stroking her chin like she was in deep thought.
"Yeah, and it really cool! Believe it!" Naruto pipes up from in front of them.
Tazuna looks thoughtful. "I thought I recognized your clan name..." He mumbles, then shakes his head and give Kakashi a worried glance. Kakashi shrugs. "I doubt it, even is she fits the profile of a Karasu clan member so well. They died out a long time ago, and are nothing but a scary story to tell naughty children." Osoroshī stutter steps and almost falls down. Sakura looks at Kakashi in wonder; Sasuke does too, but he hid it with an emotionless facade. "What do you mean, Kakashi-Sensei?" She asks.
"Sakura, do you remember the Legend of the Ravenlords?" He asks, and the group comes to a stop. All eyes were on Kakashi, even Naruto, who had wondered back to the group.
"Oh, the Ravenlords?" She nods and contined speaking. "Yeah, my dad use to tell the story when ever I did something bad. He said they were demons who ate naughty children that didn't listen to their parents." Kakashi nods, then motions them to the side of the road.
"Let's rest." Kakashi says. The group moves to a small clearing on the side of the road, and sits in a loose circle.
"The Ravenlords..." Kakashi starts; eye still half closed, making him look bored. "The Karasu clan, also known as the Ravenlords, thrived in the time before the First Shinobi World War. They were beautiful people, with grey eye and shining black hair. They were always so peaceful and calm, but that was before the war. Before a small group of ninjas, who could use dark jutsus showed up. With the darkness, they managed to control the Karasu; though it only worked when they are in their complete demon form." Kakashi looks around the group, taking in the awed faces of Sakura and Naruto. Tazuna listened, but looked mostly bored. Sasuke was now leaning against a tree with his hands in his pockets, keeping his emotionless eye locked on Osoroshī. Osoroshī was look uncomfortable, and kept fidgeting under the Uchiha's gaze. She scoot over towards Narto, who was still daydreaming off in his own little world, and tried to hide behind his small frame. But that didn't work out so well, due to her large wings.
"The Karasu flew over battles, swooping down and crushing Shinobi under them. They would hurl boulders from the sky, and spew fire from their massive jaws. Some were small, but faster than anything seen before. Other were huge, and would rampage through fights, almost unstoppable. They were hated, feared, and admired. These deadly, but beautiful, creatures were the biggest advantage any of the sides could have. The Karasu were no longer seen as people. They were seen as weapons. They were renamed Ravenlords. The Karasu started disappearing towards the end of the war, by the time the war was completely over, they were believed to be extinct. But, another legend says that they survived the war. The head of the clan was said to be uncontrollable by the dark jutsus users. It is said that they freed their clan mates, and lead them to a insolated island, untouched by humans." Kakashi shrugs, seemingly uninterested, but continues. "But we know that isn't true, because many people have attempted to find the island and all have failed." He grunts, standing up. Naruto leaps to his feet, dragging an unwilling Osoroshī with him."The Karasu clan still exists, believe it! Osoroshī is living proof!" He yells. Osoroshī jumps in shock, surprised by the sudden noise.
"Actually, le-" Osoroshī was cut off; no one paying any attention to her.
"Naruto, that's just a legend so it can't be true. Osoroshī has to be an imposter!" Sakura yells, pointing a finger at an confused and indignant Osoroshī.
"I'm not an imposter, if I was an imposter I wouldn't have these!" Osoroshī exclaims, flapping her wings.
"I don't personally believe it the Ravenlord legend, but her resemblance to the description of the Karasu clan members is unsettling. But right now we are on a mission, so I'll deal with this with later. Now everyone be quiet, and let's go." Kakashi finally says, before they can start an even bigger fight. Osoroshī scrambles to follow, after noticing Sasuke coming her way. Her panicked glance only makes the Uchiha smirk, as he followed behind the group. Naruto races off ahead again, followed by a flustered Osoroshī, who struggled to keep up with the enthusiastic blond.
"Naruto, wait up!" She calls out, stopping to lean against her staff.
"Osoroshī, I know you're a Karasu, and I'll make everyone else believe it too!" He exclaims, running to stand infront of her.
"Well, thank you. But Naruto, maybe it's best that they don't know. From what I heard, you're people really don't like my clan." She mumbles, looking at the ground.
"Of course they'll like you, you're nice. And you're the best friend of the future Hokage!" He yells, completely oblivious to her concerns. She gives a small smile.
"Alright, if you really want them to know..." She trails of, seeing that the group was starting to catch up.
"Promise me something, Naruto." She whispers, catching the attention of the blond. "If something does happen, and your village doesn't accept me, don't do anything foolish. I don't want you getting hurt."He looks at her shocked. "I wouldn't get hurt, Oso-chan." He looks at her with grin when he used 'chan'.
Osoroshī feels her heart swell happily, and she grins back. "Just promise already.... Na-kun!" She exclaims, her gloomier mood drifting away.
Naruto looks at her giddily. "Fine. I promise." He says after a few moments. By now the group had caught up. Kakashi and Tazuna looked between Naruto and Osoroshī quizzically. Sakura hung on Sasuke's arm, hearts in her eyes, while Sasuke looked like he didn't want to be there at all.
"Naruto, don't get too far ahead." Kakashi's lone eye lingers on Osoroshī, a suspicion hidden in the dark iris.
"Right!" Naruto charges off again, leaving Osoroshī alone with the group again. She pales and slowly turns around to face the group, her wide eye locking with the dark eyes of Sasuke. 'I may be considered a demon, but he scares me senseless.' She thinks, scrambling to stand by Tazuna.

"Why are you afraid of me?" A bored voice speaks up from behind Osoroshī. She freezes up, and a image of a zombie Sasuke eating her brains flashes through her mind.
"I, uh, am not afraid of you..." She trails off, swallowing nervously. Sasuke raises an eyebrow and walks closer, almost close enough to touch her. Osoroshī leaps back, wings flaring up in alarm. The group ahead of then look back in alarm, but Sakura's eyes narrow into a glare at Osoroshī.
Osoroshī swears under her breath, and waggled a finger in Sasuke's direction. "To close. You stay there, and I'll go over there..." She trys to get away, but a cool hand clamps around her wrist and drags her back.
"You never answered my question." He says, as Osoroshī squeaks in surprise.
"Ah, Na-kun save me! The zombie is going to eat my brains!" She wails, making Naruto snap his head I her direct. In seconds Naruto was between Osoroshī and Sasuke, looking absolutely furious.
"Don't touch her!" He spits, at a smirking Sasuke. The rage that is in his tone, make both Sasuke and Osoroshī look shocked. "C'mon, Oso-chan." Naruto grumbles, pulling her away by her wrist. She smiles, her face lighting up as they leave the scowling Uchiha behind.
"Thank you, Na-kun." She hugs him, making him turn a crimson shade.
"N-no problem! Believe it!" He recovers from the stutter with a loud yell, making Osoroshī flinch. She smiles, and runs ahead of the group with Naruto. She was completely unaware of Sasuke's dark eyes watching her in confusion, and wonder.
