"Hey", Noah said kissing my forehead
"Hi", I said smiling
"Ready to leave?", he asked
"Can we grab a cup of coffee at Starbucks?", I ask twirling my signature gold locket around my finger
"Sure, let's leave or we'll be late", he said and I grabbed my drawstring backpack

"One Affogato and a peppermint mocha latte", I said
"That will be 10.67 dollars", the girl at the counter said
"Nono?", I said facing him. "Where's my wallet?", I asked
"Here", he said giving me twenty out of his wallet
"Ugh! Not fair, Noah", I said and took it from him and gave it to the girl
"Here you go. Have a nice day", the girl said handing the change over
"You can have it", I said and waved and Noah drove out of the drive thru

"Hey, girl", Carrie greeted
"Hi", I said enthusiastic
"Exams are soon, I bet you're ready", Carrie said
"Yeah, although I missed majority of the term, I'll survive", I said as we walked to my locker and the cheer squad walked up to me
"You're exceptionally smart and it's so unfair. Terry too", Carrie whined
"Amy, I gotta go. See you at lunch?", Noah asked
"Yeah, later", I said and he kissed my cheek and left and I stared at him for a while then turned to the girls. "Did I mention I was picking Co - captains today?", And they stared at me as if I was crazy
"Oh, well!", Carrie gasped dramatically
"I have to call my momma, she instructed me to, so she can see if I'm doing okay", I said
"Want me to wait with you?", Carrie asked
"Sure", I said

"Hey, mom", I said
"Hi, sweetie. Are you okay?", mom asked
"Yeah, I'm fine", I answered
"Destiny, the moment you feel sick, let me know. I'll come pick you up", mom instructed
"Sure", I said and added. "I love you", but my reply was the beeping of the phone
That's my life, people

"Did you think about it?", Liam asked
"I don't date, Liam. Please stop disturbing me about it. Didn't I make it clear enough when I ignored your numerous messages after answering the first?", I asked
"I wasn't giving you an option. It's final, I'll pick you up by six today", he said holding my hand
"You're hurting my wrist", I said weakly
Let's get a few things straight. My body is very weak right now. I shouldn't even be in school. My body gets damaged all over again when it's starting to heal
"You're such a fucking bitch!", he yelled
"Let me go, Liam. That hurts a lot, please", I begged
"So, the high and mighty Destiny Winslow can beg, how hilarious", he mocked
"What did I ever do to you?", I asked
"Oh, you'll find out but maybe when you do, it will be time for you to die", he said into my ear sending a shiver through my body and he let me go and everything became blurry and I fell to the ground
