When you're alone with no friends, it's always the same cycle. I spent Christmas alone, nobody called me, I guess I'm that forgettable. It's New Year's Eve now and I'm alone again. Somehow, the weather matches my mood. There's going to be a storm and this is California. The electricity is out and even though I can fix it myself, I won't, I'm not too lazy to fix it, I'm too lonely to. What's the use, I'm going to be the only one here I might as well sulk in the dark. It's freezing and I'm sitting on the couch in the dark and I can't help but let that one teardrop roll down my face. Fighting it is hopeless, I feel numb, nothing but numb and I just want to feel something. Maybe, if I could get a knife in the kitchen, it'll make me happy. What wouldn't I try at this point? I'm a neglected, lonely person. No friends and no family, the ones I have... Or the ones I used to have want nothing to do with me and maybe even I don't want anything to do with myself...

Third person's POV
"Did you call Amy?" Noah asked.
"She's not answering," Iris answered.
"I'm worried about her," Noah exhaled.
"She's fine, Neena's with her," Carrie waved it off.
"Neena! Call Neena," Noah said.
"Okay," Iris answered and dialed the number and put it on speaker. "Hi, Neena. It's Iris, can you please hand the phone over to Destiny?"
"I can't do that. Miss Winslow told me to go home the day y'all left. I haven't seen her in two weeks," Neena replied.
"Can you go check her, to see if she's okay. She's not answering her phone," Noah said running his hand through his hair.
"Of course, I'll call you as soon as I arrive," Neena said.
"Thanks, Neena." Noah said and Iris cut the call.
"Now that, that's over. Let's go ski," Carrie said wrapping her hand around Noah's bicep.
"Give it a rest, Carrie," Summer groaned.
"Yeah, you've been acting like we're your puppets and we do whatever you want," Ashton agreed.
"What do you mean? I've done no such thing," Carrie said.
"Really? Cause, ever since we got here you've been acting like you're in charge of everything that we do. What's your freaking issue?" Fiona asked.
"We get that you're trying to get your mind of things with your parents and adopted ones but you don't have to act like you own us!" Miles snapped.
"That was low, Miles. Really low," Noah defended.
"Yeah, low. At least I don't make out with one best friend and sleep with the other the next day," Miles retorted.
"What's this about? Rather, who?" Noah asked calmly.
"You played with her feelings, Terence. You hurt her and she trusted you so much," Miles shook his head.
"And I'm sorry about that," Noah replied.
"Does she know you are? Cause, I bet she doesn't. You of all people should know how she gets, she doesn't have it easy like the rest of us do. She's supposed to be the perfect daughter while the rest of us can rebel," Miles shot.
"He has a point. You can't just start worrying about her, Terence. You've hurt her badly," Cole agreed.
"I was going to stay away when I saw how happy you made her but now you've made her a shadow of who she used to be and I just can't help but feel guilty about it," Miles said.
"It's not my fault you can't man up and tell her you fucking love her," Noah said.
"And, you can?" Miles asked an eyebrow raised and before Noah could reply, Iris's phone rang.
"S... she's... she's not here... an... and... t... there's.... there's blood everywhere in the kitchen and... a... knife", Neena stuttered.
"I'm sorry, what?!" Iris asked shocked.
"She's not here, Miss Barnes," Neena said as calmly as she could.
"Are you fucking kidding me?" Noah asked angrily and Neena shivered.
"Baby, calm down. She's fine, you know how Destiny can get. She's dramatic, always wanting to be the center of attention," Carrie said rubbing his arm.
"Don't you dare, Carrieta, don't you dare," Noah seethed.
"What the heck is wrong with y'all? She's fine, obviously. She's just being dramatic Dee," Carrie said and Flora slapped her.
"Just stop, Carrie! Stop! Stop being such a byotch, Desti hasn't done anything wrong to you. Why do you hate her so much?" Flora asked.
"There's a note. It says, “Finally, I have my golden jewel, after ten years of waiting, she's mine again. About time, if you ask me. Not to worry, I'll treat her like the princess that she is. She's in safe hands. Greetings from, Max.” Did you get that?", Neena asked.
"Motherfucker," Ashton muttered.
"We have to go now. It all makes sense now, he was her rapist. He's been obsessed with her since she was seven and we eight. Ash, call Ari and Dale. We have to be in Cali today," Noah said.
