Sapnap:

He heard screaming.

It was kind of unsettling, someone howling in agony, sending shivers up his spine as all the eyes in the meeting room turned towards the door.

"What was that?" False asked, her hands filled with her knives again as they stood up. "That sounded like Fruit."

"Let's go." Deo made an executive decision, the bow on his back now ready and an arrow notched. "And no one split off."

They drew their weapons, except Bad, who pulled a roll of bandages and some herbs from out of nowhere. He saw the worried glance that he shot Skeppy, his eyes falling on the burns and wounds still covering the boy.

"Hey, Bad, could you take Skeppy to defend the people in the medbay, just in case someone is actually attacking?" Sapnap asked the green eyed boy. "We need someone to defend the wounded.

"Yeah, sure." Bad visibly relaxed and glanced over at Skeppy. "We can do that. Stay safe, Sapnap."

Sapnap watched as Bad wrapped his arm around Skeppy's waist and helped the wounded boy down the corridor. He stayed there, making sure they were all right until the blue hoodie of Skeppy disappeared into the shadows. He felt better now, knowing that they were safe, and George was being protected by the two formidable fighters.

"Skeppy, are you coming?" Deo asked, his glasses shimmering in the light. "We need to get going if we want to catch them."

"Yeah, sorry." Skeppy followed Deo as the brown haired boy ran down the tunnel, towards the common area. "Why are we going towards the lower tunnels?"

"It's where Fruit was last headed." Deo shouted over his shoulder as Sapnap drew his axe from his back. "And the scream sounded like his, so that's where we're going."

"So, we run towards the agonized scream?" Sapnap jumped as Eret appeared behind him, his crown gleaming. "In horror movies, that's never the best idea."

"Well, this hopefully isn't a horror movie, Eret where the hell have you been and yes, we are heading towards the scream." Deo yelled back at the brown haired man. "No more questions, just shut up and run."

Sapnap almost laughed at the surprised look on Eret's face, then the man just shrugged and raced after Deo, his purple cape flowing behind him. He felt worry grow on his face as a scream echoed again, than just cut off, this time the voice completely undiscernible as the sound echoed in his ears. He saw an uncomfortable look flash across Eret's face, his horror showing through for one second before it was masked again. He didn't know what he was going to find. Sapnap definitely didn't want to find a dead body, especially now that only people he knew were left, but who else would make that pained shriek.

What if it was Dream.

No, he couldn't think like that, because Dream was safe, Dream was fine, everything was going to be all right. They were all going to get out safe, this screaming was all just some silly hallucination that they all happened to have at the exact same time. Deo skidded to a halt outside the public medbay, his feet slipping on something red covering the ground. This is when Sapnap's brain accepted the reality of the situation as he almost slipped in the blood covering the floor, seeping out of the entrance to the medbay.

You didn't hallucinate that.

"Fruit?" Grian's voice shook a bit as pushed past Deo, walking carefully into the room. "Fruit, are you all right?"

Sapnap followed Grian into the room, their shoes stained with blood, the stone turned red by the same substance. A metallic smell reached his nose, making him gag as he pulled his shirt over his nose, trying to block the scent as he peered inside the room.
