The Alpha is my Mate

Chapter 3

Alexander's POV

"Alpha."

I turn to see my lead warrior, Samuel. "What's your report?" My voice boomed throughout the room. Samuel bowed slightly.

"The Silver Blood pack shows no sign of attacking anytime soon. But Alpha Xavier is hungry for power, but luckily he doesn't have the numbers to defeat us yet. I have also heard rumors that he has the most powerful witch in his pack." Samuel report.

I stood there for a few moments, letting my mind process this news. I had sent Samuel to spy on the Silver Blood pack because I trusted him and knew he wouldn't disappoint me.

"Vicki doesn't let anyone control her, if she's there then it's for a reason. I want you to find out what it is." I replied as I turned to face the window again.

"Alex?"

I turn back to face Samuel. I waited for what he was going to say next, knowing whatever it was, it wasn't going to be good from the look on his face and the tone of his voice.

"While I was in the Silver Blood pack territory, I found my mate." He murmurs.

I sigh, Samuel is one of my best friends and I want him to be happy. I just wished his mate wasn't apart of the Silver Blood pack. After everything that has happened, I can't forgive what that pack has done.

"Sam, you know what that pack did to my parents, our former Alpha and Luna." I reminded him.

"Yes, I know Alex." He turns to leave with his head hanging. I can see the disappointment, anger, and sadness coming off him, making me feel awful for my friend and for my decision.

No matter how I felt, I couldn't let that pack get away with murdering my parents. I have worked hard to get my pack to the top, before we were once one of the weakest packs. I won't let Alpha Xavier ruin everything I've done. We have to be ready for when he plans to attack.

LIllian's POV

"Emma, I'm going to help you find your mate." I announced as I entered her room. Her eyes were red,bloodshot, and puffy from crying. It made me feel worse for yelling at her.

"Emma, I'm sorry I yelled at you. I don't know what going on with me, I don't want you to be afraid of me." I said worried.

"It's okay, Lil. But since when do you have an Alpha voice?" She sniffled.

My jaw drops. A what? She said I had an Alpha voice? Emma giggles at my reaction, making me quickly shut it.

"W-what?" I stammer.

"Lil, you hav an Alpha voice." She says in a matter of fact tone.

"But how?" I wandered. "We have to go to Vicki, she'll know. The sooner, the better. I'm sorry Emma, we can find your mate right after we figure what's going on."

"Where are we going?" A voice calls from the doorway causing me and Emma to jump. Liam grins at us.

"Nowhere." I say innocently as I stand to leave.

"That's bull and you know it. I'm coming with you." He stated.

Emma and I lock eyes, both knowing we won't be able to change his mind.

"Fine, we leave tonight." I stalk out of the room.

~Later that night ~

After running through the woods for what felt like forever, but had only been an hour, we came upon Vicki's cabin. Her cabin looks like it came out a horror movie, creepy enough to give me chills.

"To what do I owe the pleasure?" A voice asks from inside the dark cabin. I glance at Emma and Liam only to find them already looking at me. We slowly started making our way up the broken steps and then into the dark cabin.

I have heard that Vicki is the most powerful witch, but I've never seen for myself. She doesn't socialize with the pack, she does spells for the pack and then she leaves until she's needed again. If anyone would know what is happening to me, it would be her.

"I need to know what's happening to me." I tell her without my voice wavering.

"Oh darling, you're just finding your true self. Though it is happening sooner than I thought." She says taking to herself.

"What do you mean my true self?" I look over to my friends to see they are puzzled too.

"If you want to know then you must go to the Blue Moon pack. Everything will be revealed to you, but it won't be an easy journey."

Then she mutters something under her breath and snaps her fingers. Leaving us back in the woods with more questions then answers and no cabin in sight. We stand there for a few moments, partly in shock and confusion, and partly because we didn't know what to do next.

"Does anyone know what she was talking about?" Liam questions.

"Uh no."I lie. I then mindlink Emma, letting her know my plan. "I'm going to the Blue Moon pack."

"No no no. You're not doing it." Liam argued.

"Doing what?" I questioned.

"Whatever it is you're going to do. You have that look on your face when you're going to get into trouble." He scolded.

"Fine. I'm going to the Blue Moon pack." I admitted.

"You can't, Alpha Xavier would never let you."

He was right, Alpha Xavier wouldn't let me. I can't let that stop me though, I need to find out what Vicki meant.
