(During the battle of Liones (End of season 1)).

Diane's eyes slowly opened as she was encased in a green glow. The excruciating pain from her injuries subsided as the 3 gaping holes in her body started to close and heal.

"Spirit Spear Chastiefol 8th Configuration: Pollen Garden"

As Diane's wounds started to heal, she was suddenly met with memories of her childhood self finding a boy passed out by a river. She took care of him and lived with him for hundreds of years.

Diane's thoughts: "Huh... I don't remember this."

Diane then saw a memory of her younger self with the boy who was floating but his face was still clouded in Diane's mind.

Young Diane: "Harlequin! Will you love me forever?"

Harlequin: "Of course. I'll love forever and I'll always be by your side!"

Diane's thoughts: "Harlequin... Why does that name feel so nostalgic?"

Diane then finally regained the memory of the face of the boy.

Diane's thoughts: "KING! IT WAS HIM?!"

Diane's mind raced through tons of thoughts until she was snapped back to reality by a calming voice.

King: "Diane. I'm sorry you had to go through all of that on your own.

Diane: "It's okay. None of this was your fault. Thanks for saving me King. Now let's go rescue Elizabeth."

King: "You should just rest for now. Even with so much power put into it, pollen garden was only able to heal you by a limited amount. Your body is still in a pretty bad condition. I'll take care of everything else."

Diane looked down at the floating fairy with a warm smile.

(After the battle)

King sat on a rooftop wit Oslo in the middle of Liones contemplating what had happened over the past few days. Though his main thoughts were for Diane.

King: "*Sigh* Diane must be feeling so terrible right now. Not only did she have to see how close Captain and the princess were, she also had to deal with being hurt and in the human kingdom all on her own. How in the hell can I comfort her?"

King's thoughts were interrupted by a voice calling to him from the ground.

Diane: "Hey King!"

King turned around expecting to see a 30 (or as she says 29) ft. giant but was instead met with a normal sized girl wearing a pink dress. King floated down to the human sized Diane with a look of confusion that Diane quickly explained away.

Diane: "Merlin made a special potion for me to keep me small while my clothes are getting fixed."

Diane took notice of the way King was looking at her completely awestruck.

Diane: "What is it King. Do these clothes look bad on me or something?"

King: "N-NO THAT'S NOT IT AT ALL!"

Diane: "Then I guess it must be the fact that I'm small. I guess it can be pretty jarring to suddenly see someone who's normally really big as normal sized."

Diane grabbed her pigtail and hid her growing blush with it.

King: "It's not really that either. It's just that when you're like this, it's much easier to see how pretty you are."

        Diane's blush deepened.

Diane: "Y-You're just saying that."

King: "No I'm not! You really are pretty!"

Diane smiled underneath her pigtail before letting it go.

Diane: "Thanks King. That's really sweet."

King and Diane stood there for a few seconds as they became lost in each other's eyes before Diane spoke up.

Diane: "Oh! Did you remember that foundation day is happening tomorrow?"

King: "Oh yeah that's right. I assume you're going to ask Captain to go with you?"

Diane: "Well actually I was going to ask you to go with me."

King: "Y-You want to go with me?!"

Diane: "Yep. Just the two of us. After all, it is the least I could do after you saved me during the battle."

King: "I-I'd love to!"

Diane: "Thanks Har- I mean King!"

Later on that day while the sins were working in the tavern, Diane's mind raced back and forth on one thought.

Diane's thoughts: "How am I going to tell him that I remember everything?"
