[A/N: Translations will be given in brackets and italics ; Hyung means Big Brother in Korean]

"Do you like it?" Father asked as we entered an expensive-looking restaurant.

"Yes, I like it but isn't it to-"

"Too expensive? Nope! If it's only for today and when I take your mother out for dates." I gagged at his very very sweet words, which gave me cavities, and proceeded to make my way to our table.

I sat down on a random seat and looked at my parents to see them looking at each with that look.

And I know you know what I mean, so I am not gonna say the word.

Before I could tell them off, a small box was placed in front of me and a person sat beside me. I frowned and immediately looked beside me to tell the person off but words got stuck in my throat as I saw who it was.

"H-Hyung?!" I gasped as I saw him here, sitting beside me, in flesh. Tears burst from my eyes and immediately hugged him.

"Woah kiddo naya." He chuckled as I cried in his arms.

(Woah kiddo it is me)

"Hyung! I thought you will not make it! It's been 6 years since I last saw you! And that was when you were leaving for the military!"

South Korea has this law that when you are of a certain age you have to go into the military for a certain period of time.

And yes, my family is from South Korea but my parents and I moved to the US because of my university and so, my brother and I rarely met.

And also because my father wanted to expand his fishing business.

"Geogi yaedeul a uljima, na yeogi issjanh-a? geuleoni geuman ul-eo!" I immediately stopped crying after his words and wiped away my tears and snot, all the while looking at him giving me a big grin.
