"Scarlett! stop your hurting me..."
-
it was a peaceful evening, surprisingly. although you were thinking of sleeping however you didn't feel sleepy, and would you be able to stay asleep? you purse your lips caught up in your own thoughts, but no one except you was in the room, at the moment that is.
you sigh contently you hope you could be as calm as right now, all the time. but having a crush and Scarlett complicated your calm thoughts.
-
the door opened as Lawrence moved inside, you made brief eye-contact. you give him a small awkward smile, returning to what you were doing, daydreaming about anything, and everything that could happen in the future.
"You always seem to be here early," Lawrence said, he wasn't wrong. "I tend to wake up earlier than what's considered normal, you know? so, why not come a little early?" you laugh staring out the window.
he blankly stares at you for a few minutes before returning to preparing for something or another. the look he was giving you, in all honesty, freaked you out a little, because his eyes were focused directly on you.
to your rescue, a sort of friendly face came inside
"Oh, hey. Eugene!" you smile over at the blonde on the other side of the room, "Hey, (Y/N)" Eugene yawns tiredly.
Zion seemed to glare at Eugene, weird. was there something you didn't know about? such as an argument or something like that.
-
Scarlett corners you aggravated by something but you couldn't figure out what she was so pissed about this time.
"I know, you've been seeing Zion!" she pushed you against the wall, you recoil hitting the hard surface of a brick wall.
"No I haven't." you protested calmly, you were deep down wanting to kick her down and tell her 'so what? it's none of your business!'
But if you did that her suspicions would just increase."Bullshit!" she slaps your shoulder, you flinch before her hand even meets your shoulder, you were used to violence, yet when it happened you always flinch before the hit comes.
you purse your lips nervously, you wouldn't want her to tell Lawrence that you were sneaking around to talk with Zion, especially in the middle of the night.
"tell me the fucking truth" she screams more irritated than before, shoving you hard enough to make you lose your balance.
"stop being such a stubborn ass! I'm being fucking honest with you. I don't like lying" you lied in a hypocritic way, this stubborn bitch couldn't mind her own business for once.
she twists your wrist out of frustration, to the point where it's painful you feel tears of pain, your lips began to quiver, her eyes glaring harshly at you
but you couldn't let her just twist your arm like that, you yank your arm back, snapping at her "Leave me alone."
"We heard arguing- Scarlett." Ethan pulled her away from you while she was throwing a fit at the same time when he had left the room, you spoke.
"Zion, she caught on."
in my first draft I made the reader out to be a stupid damsel in distress and ew-
that's not my thing and tbh it doesn't fit the plot either.
