I went to school, not feeling too good. After what happened last night, I just wanted to lie somewhere all day. Not at home, not at school, but in the middle of nowhere. "Hey Potter," I jumped in surprise and closed my locker door to see Boris. "Hey," I said.
"Come Potter,"
"Where do you want to go? We have class,"
"Who cares? Are you going to come?" Boris said and walked off down the hallway.
"Wait up!" Boris turned to face me. I could feel my face go red. Gosh, he was cute. "I'm coming," Boris just smirked and waited for me to catch up. "Where are we going?" I asked.
"Who knows? Anywhere is better than this stupid school,"
I just smiled back at him and watched as he ran out the school doors. I laughed as I ran to catch up with him.
We ended up at the store. "Food, we need food," Boris said.
"But we don't have any money,"
Boris bent down and whispered into my ear, "So we steal," My face turned red as goosebumps appeared on my body when he spoke. "Right, yeah good idea," I smiled. All this was familiar to me, as I also was forced to steal food for myself when my dad wasn't around. It was a comforting feeling knowing I wasn't the only person that stealed. "Boris?" "Yes Potter?" Boris replied as he walked through the alcohol isle. "Have you ever stolen before?"
"Of course I have Potter, How do you think I get my drinks?"
"Right," I chuckled softly. I usually wouldn't feel comfortable telling anyone this but for some reason I felt as though I could tell Boris anything. I felt as though Boris would keep my secret and wouldn't judge me unlike my so called "friends" at school. "Hey uhh Boris, I've stolen before too, please don't tell anyone though."
Boris turned and walked towards me until we were face to face. "And why would I do that Potter?"
I could feel myself blushing, I looked down at my feet, embarrassed. Suddenly, Boris went to a shelf and picked up a bottle. "Now this is the one,"
I watched as he grabbed the bottle and tucked it into his coat. "Here Potter, take this and hide it in your jacket,"
He handed me a bottle and I gladly did so. After we made it out of the shop, Boris and I burst out laughing. "That was so close," I said. We walked around the block and found a kerb to sit on. Boris opened the bottle and took a sip before handing it to me. "Here, take a drink," I have never drank alcohol before so I was a little hesitant at first and Boris could tell. "Never drank before? Potter, its ok. Just take a sip. It won't hurt you. I drink all the time," Boris looked at me before I finally decided to drink it. I mean, I felt pretty bad and one drink couldn't hurt right? Boris opened the other bottle. "Better than class, right?"
"Totally, I'm really glad I came," I replied. Boris and I smiled at each other for a while. I looked at his freckles, his pretty eyes and dark curly hair. Boris was the prettiest boy I'd ever seen. Boy, was I lucky to be with him right now. Boris made me feel comfortable. He was the first person I'd hung out with in a while and it felt nice.
