I might not have a 54- inch chest,
Yet I am strong.
I may not have big biceps like the rest,
But my thoughts aren't wrong.I can feel your stare,
Burning into my heart.
Thinking I'm not aware,
Hoping I would stop.I was born like this,
I was born a woman so strong.
I know I can give birth to kids,
But that's not my only job.
A hundred dreams I can enlist,
And they aren't yours.I won't fulfil your dreams,
They aren't mine.
I'll stop addressing your needs,
If they can't compromise.I may bleed every month,
And that's surely not a curse.I'll have my own way.
But you won't have a say.
I don't need a knight.
I can win my own fights.I'm not just a queen,
But the king as well.
I don't care about what has been,
Because I write what comes next.I can break the rules of this patriachal convention,
I see through the mask of your fake affection.
I don't need a man.
Are you sure you can say the same for a woman?Don't sympathize ,
Don't you dare patronize.
For I'm not the same woman you broke.
I'm a woman born to provoke.
