Meredith ran out of the stairwell, flustered and frustrated with her colleague. She got a 911 page for her 15 year old pageant patient and scowled. It was probably her being bored again but she couldn't ignore it.

She took off at a run, weaving in between the busy hospital halls. She reached the patients room where she found that she was coding. The nurse looked up at her and said "what shall I do Dr.grey?" Meredith stared into space but snapped back into action and yelled "push 1 miligrams of epi and start compressions! Charge to 200 please!"

She grabbed the shock panels and yelled "clear!" Everyone cleared and Meredith pushed the shock panels onto the patient and watched as the patient got a faint pulse back.

Meredith checked her vitals and once they were stable, took a moment to calm herself from the adrenaline running through her veins. She used some hand sanitizer and cleaner her hands.

She pulled her hair into a ponytail, and went to the cafeteria. Grabbing a sandwich, She took a seat between George and Cristina. These interns she really liked. She had let George and Izzy move in as she needed roommates.

Apparently, George had heard through the grapevine that tomorrow we were getting a new intern for our group. He had been transferred from Dr.Mccheery's group to our group.

She saw Dr.Shepherd walk into the room followed by one of his big-shot surgeon friends. Izzy reckoningized him immeditly. "That's Dr.Sloan! He's one of the best plastic surgeons in this country!" "And that matters because...?" Meredith raised an eyebrow. "Cause he's rich and he's quite good-looking!" Izzy whispered back, giggling like a 13 year old girl, fangirling over a crush.

Meredith flicked a fry into her hair from George's plate in frustration. Izzy waved to the hotshot surgeons. Derek saw her and started walking over as soon as he realized Meredith was sitting there. "Why hello, the young fresh interns of 2005. "He chuckled kindly. Meredith groaned loudly and no longer hungry, threw her food in the trash bin. She got up quickly and speed walked it away from the danger-zone also known as the cafeteria.
