Jackson followed his mother's finger as it was placed on his small chest, where his heart was planted. Looking up at her, his eyes flicker in confusion. Jackson had no idea why he was special, questioning his mother soon after the touch. "Special?".Once said, she smiled, kissing his head once again; making little wolf ears pop out, "Your my Wol-." She was sharply cut off when hearing someone knock on the door. Putting Jackson down on the chair, she stumbles to the door along with an annoyed sigh. Jackson felt the sensitive, soft, silky ears on his little head, smiling as they twitch at the touch. "I'm a Wolf!" He chuckled, before lifting a pancake to his button nose and sniffing it. God, it smelt like they've fallen from heaven. Before Jackson was about to bite into a delicious, succulent pancake, a little girl ran out from the hallway, her arms stretched out as if she was an airplane. After circling the table with a vroom, she climbs onto the chair beside Jackson. "Morning!" She shouts with her arms up in the air, nearly scaring Jackson out his skin. He glanced at her, a tender smile crossing is face as he returned the greeting to his sister, April. Once April sat in the seat to eat, she pointed to his wolf ears. "Fluffy~!" She smiles wide. Jackson chuckled softly, tilting is head so she could feel them. Mother came back with a man.
Their father.
Jackson had to be honest, he has always been scared of him. He's one of those men who test on supernatural beings. His father was qualified as a doctor, a scientist...a hunter. So Jackson never really attempted to get close to him. Similarly, April had the same feeling. Every-time he walked into the room, they both felt uneasy...and nervous.
Jackson's mother smiles at him as she walks past. "Your father's here, Jackson." Nodding nervously, he began lowering his head as he infiltrates the room. Glancing at Jackson, his father glares at the ears on his head. With a gulp, he stares back. Jackson's father got out of his seat, walking around the table and towards Jackson. April gasped, leaping out the seat and running her mother. Hugging her, she let out a terrifying whine. Jackson also got out of the seat, taking a step back as his father gradually came closer. Jackson's heart pounds, fear was filling his body, causing his wolf ears to fall back, his tail tucking between his legs. His father grabbed him by the collar and lifted him off the ground and into the air. He was petrified, something was gonna happen to him, the anger in his fathers eyes told the story. After dropping Jackson, he grabs him by the leg tightly, dragging him towards the door. Jackson let out a howling scream and tries digging his claws into the floor boards. Tears ran down his dark cheek, "No! father please!". Jackson begs before his father picks him up roughly over his shoulder, carrying him out.
