So we're off to Pearl Mountain. You know, I gotta say, never in my life did I honestly think I would be going on an adventure with an Elf princess & her court mage while they are riding giant chickens in real life. We can see Pearl Mountain even from the longest distance back at the castle, it's flipping huge and so aptly named because it's not only covered in snow as a mountain would, but the rock comprised of it is made of a white stone, I'm guessing marble. "So when we get there, how are our pets gonna traverse the mountain?" I ask.

"There are paths made to do so, though it will be quite the hike. And sadly our mounts can only take us so far." Zanera explains.

"It's not a volcano is it? Cause I was amazed I survived the last one." I admitted.

"No, the lava flow has long since passed. I've noticed you keep staring at the peak of it, you need not worry about climbing gear, we're not climbing to the top of it. Geogaia's shrine is located deep underground." Eedelia explains.

"Oh good, that's a load off me." I sigh in relief.

"I find it odd that I've been chosen to be named Champion of Earth. I myself don't practice neither Shamanism or Druidism. The closest to nature I've been is taking a few strolls through our nature trails in our parks and I have a small garden I tend to. A Dwarf would probably be more suitable." Zanera wonders.

"Well maybe perhaps there is something more to it than that? Maybe they judge you on personality. Like I have a bit of a passion like fire, you gotta be emotionally strong as rock to put up with half the crap you do from what little I've seen." I reason.

"He does make a fair point. And mayhaps the Elementals have larger plans for you. Perhaps even they are aware of your plight and wish to help Princess." Eedelia suggested.

"I highly doubt they care about my petty political problems." The princess sighs.

"I certainly hope it's nothing too big if so. I mean I don't mind helping people out cause I'm a bro like that but...I got limits. I'm a weirdo with amnesia, not only does that hinder me out right but let's just say Zanera & I and the other two have been named the chosen heroes of destiny fated to save the cosmic order of all things..." I started to explain.

"Fair enough, what say you then? You wouldn't help?" Eedelia asks curiously.

"No I'm asking: What would make ME so gosh darn gee willikers uber duber special, that I could handle it? I hate that in story lines. Because imagine if I screwed up? The universe is doomed because I died or accidentally lost the important magical mcguffin that would be the key to our survival?" I point out.

Eedelia nods, "Fair point."

Night falls so it was decided to make camp for now. "We're making good time. We should be able to reach Mount Pearl tomorrow afternoon." Zanera notes checking the maps. Good to know.

Eedelia was sitting by the fire deep in thought with his folded hands on his chin. I was finishing the last of my dinner and taking care of the dishes. Lifting his head up he closes his eyes and tilts his head a bit. "Something wrong?" I ask.

He opens his eyes with a scowl on his face picking up his staff, "We are not alone. Beware."

Drawing my swords I readied myself. Indeed we were not alone and it didn't sound pleasant. I recognize those familiar groans anywhere. Those are eerie unshaking fear sounds of Zombies. Oh joy. "And we with no cleric or paladin to aid us. Seth, this is your moment to shine, the undead are vulnerable to fire. It is the only advantage we have at this moment." Zanera warns.

My eyes begin to glow as I readied for combat, "Noted. One barbecued Zombie Horde coming right up." I sheath one my cutlasses for a casting hand, "Fireball!"
