The rest of the year went by normally, really. Nothing special or unusual. Of course, the twins would always come up with something like trying to make magical sweets to get you out of class or something to help you out of lessons. You were always the first one to test it since they knew your honesty and that you would tell them if anything was wrong.

Lily kept giving you evil glares and laughs but stopped after seeing you look back at her. She preety much turned half of hufflepuff against you, quite easily. 'As years go by, it'll only get worse' you said to yourself 'so I should get used to her and everything she has against me'. You knew she knew more people than you and that sooner or later people, maybe even the ones you trust most, will turn their backs on you.

Emily and Klaus always had the need to argue whenever you went down the halls together. During the last few days, they were somehow nice to each other. How are they still friends? If they keep on arguing, how do they still talk to each other? I guess that fighting is casual in the relationship they have. It must be weird, making up with your friend but arguing 2 days after, sometimes 1.

Emily was always one to stand out so you saw a lot of people coming up to you when you were hanging out with her. You don't really like to stand out so you try not to talk to her unless in the common room/dormitory. Her long, brown hair would always get in her mouth when she tried to talk to you and she seemed so small at points that you weren't sure if you should bend down to make the height fair or if that would be rude.

Klaus was very helpful with book recommendations. He always chose the best books so sometimes you could be stuck in a book for so long you miss you're next lesson and still continue to read. He doesn't talk to you that often but it wasn't because he didn't enjoy hanging out with you but just because he enjoyed being by himself, and that's fine too. You were still preety great friends and whenever he had to pair up he would always come to you, looking down at his shoes and quietly asking to be your partner. It's kind of nice knowing that there's a friend that will always be with you, no matter what, that friend being Klaus.

The teachers were nice to most of first year so lessons weren't as boring as the third years said so during the beginning of the year. You keep on doing outstanding in Snapes classes and nearly outstanding in muggle studies, since you live with your muggle mom, which makes it a lot easier. You are doing well in other classes but you keep aiming higher and higher for yourself. It can only get better from here.

Most of six and seven years called you annoying. Not you, but the first years in general. Obviously, they would still look at whatever Fred and George would come up with, but they would still be whispering about it. They probably don't know that Fred and George and in year 1 too but it doesn't bother you since it's their opinion. You could get used to that quite easily. We all have differences and some are ok while some are not, and that would make sense.

Some of the second years would help you around the school often. At least you know who to ask for help. You already know half of the second years because of the twins, even if Fred spent more time with them than with you and George. He doesn't enjoy being the main part of attention.

You and George would always be whispering during astronomy. You have to try not to laugh since you're right in front of the teacher. You liked to be alone with George sometimes. Ever since the end of the argument, you have talked to him twice the time you would've before it.

(thank you for reading! I will put up the next chapter as soon as possible instead of Wednesday like normally. Nothing much was meant to happen in year 1 but the chapters just will keep on getting better. I have already done year 2 part 1 but I need to edit it just for any mistakes.)
