Year 2: part 1

Finally, a new year. The holiday's felt so long yet so short. You enjoyed being with your parents, once again, but you also kind of wanted to come back to Hogwarts.

"Took you long enough!" you shouted, standing up from the bench you sat on and ran up to Fred and George. "Hello to you too?" George said. They had all their baggages with them on a trolley. Their owls, bags, some books too. You just had 2 bags and your owl, Sandy.

You saw another smaller red head, that looked similar to Fred and George, run through the same brick wall." That's our younger brother, Ron, we enjoy pranking him because he has some of the best reactions. He's also scared of spiders, something he shouldn't have told us." Fred said, looking at his brother and then at you. "We even have a younger sister, parents never got tired, I guess." George added.

How many people do they have in their family? So, there's Bill and Charlie, which are already out of school. Then there's their other brother, Percy, one of the school prefects but he's probably the one to avoid the most. He's strict and a know-it-all. The twins just loved making fun of him. Then there's them, the middle children of the family. The exact opposite of Percy, luckily. After them, they had Ron. A cute little boy right now, but would probably grow up in a year's time. And they then had the youngest child named Ginny, you think. They hardly talk about their younger siblings so you didn't really know well. And, of course, then there's Molly and Arthur. They are the nicest parents you have ever seen, maybe except for yours. Wow! 9 people in one family. Doesn't that ever get complicated?

Fred clapped his hands in front of your face to wake you up from your thought. You all got in a compartment. Soon after, other people started to join inside because of the twins popularity. It was very crowed after 5 minutes and you have decided to go to another one. "Hey! I'm going to go to the compartment next to ours!" you shouted over all the talk and whispers. "Hey y/n, can I come with you?" George also shouted. You nodded and went through the people. Some were small and cute so they seemed like puppies while others were tall and big like bullies. You tried your best not to hit anyone's arm or not to step on any feet. George had the same problem. You finally got out and went to the compartment right next to the one they were just in. There was Ron and another boy in it.

"Hello, we are now going to be here." George said, taking your hand and seating you down next to the brown haired boy. "Hi! What's your name?" you asked the boy next to you to make things less awkward. "Harry, Har-Harry P-Potter." the boy stuttered. You, George and Ron looked at him in shock. The Harry Potter your dad always read books to you about? The Harry Potter that defeated he-who-must-not-be-named when he didn't even try?

The boy brushed his hair out of his face and that's when you saw a small part of the lightning scar on his forehead, just like your dad read to you a winter night. "I'm y/n l/n. That's George. That's Ron." you said pointing at both of the boys. You tried to keep things cool so the little boy wasn't too nervous. "How does she know me?" Ron whispered to his brother. As George explained who you were and how you knew about him, you tried talking to Harry. Each sentence, he opened up more and more. He was very kind and sounded overwhelmed by all the magic. You explained everything about Hogwarts to Harry, and after George was done explaining, to Ron. They both looked impressed and George kept a smirk on his face.

Soon, a girl and a boy came. The girl had thick brown hair and already had her robes on. The boy looked the complete opposite of her. She looked brave and like a know-it-all like Percy, while he looked anxious and kept his head down the whole time. "Has anyone seen a toad? Neville can't find his." the girl said, looking at each of you for the same amount of time. "Nope, sorry." George answered. She rolled her eyes and closed the doors, while the boy just took a step back and already started to go to the next compartment, with Fred and all the over students in it. It was probably all clear by now because you could see them move easily.
