Year 2: part 2

Great. Now, it was time for detention. How exciting. You just entered the class, seeing Fred and George already there. "We are just waiting for 2 more students, then we may begin." the teacher at the front of class said. The teacher wasn't looking at anyone, he was looking for something in his drawer. You sat down, as far away from Fred and George as possible. You had detention because of their dumb ideas and you don't want more than a week.

The 2 students entered at the same time, one with a slytherin tie and the other with a griffindor. The griffindor looked very messy and unorganised while the slytherin was trying to help the other put on their robes and do their tie properly. "Didn't mean to be late sir. Molly forgot we had detention and I had to go and remind her." the slytherin looked at the teacher, and then back at the griffindor with an evil stare. The griffindor just smiled back. "No worries, Molly and Dan, you may sit down and let this one hour begin."

20 minutes already passed and the silence started to get to everyone except the slytherin student. Molly was playing with her pencil- shaking it up and down so quick it was hard to keep up. Fred and George were passing notes whenever the teacher would turn their eye for a literal second. You already started to get bored and wanted to take out a book to read. You had to do this for the while week. Ughhhhh!

George looked at you and passed a note to Fred. Fred saw the note and looked at his twin just to make sure that's what he wanted. George nodded. Fred made a miny paper plane that flew right to you, he probably used his wand underneath his desk though. You noticed the nite quite quickly and quickly opened it, just out of boredom. You read everything it said and it was the conversation they were having this whole half an hour. Some writing bigger than other yet still clear enough to read.

'Can we make another prank on Filch today?'
'We are already in trouble, why would we want to be in extra?'
'Becoming Y/N, are we?'
'Shut up Fred'
'Nahh, I got more to talk about'
Like, for example what?'
'Like your crush on her'
'No I dont'
'Yes you dooooo'
'How about we give her the note and see what she thinks?'

That's all. It felt like they kept passing to each other every half a minute. Didn't know they write that slow. Muggle schools weren't enough for them, and neither is hogwarts. You wrote:

You sent the note back to them, the same way they were doing this whole detention. They looked a bit confused but you just rolled your eyes. You don't have time for these games. Before the note got back to you, the proffesor started talking again. "Detentions over for you 3. Molly and Tom, you still have to stay here for 30 minutes. See you tomorrow, you troublesome twins. See you, Miss Y/L/N." "See ya later, monsieur!" George said, bowing down and taking of an imaginary hat. You just waved and started walking to your common room.

"You'll have to talk to us one day!" Fred shouted across the hallway, "not just write!" "I would hope not today!" you shouted back without looking back. You heard their laughter as you went downstairs. You went to your common room and up to Emily and Klaus, to see what the dabate was about today. "You're an idiot!" Emily shouted just as you came in. "Then that would make you a dumbass." Klaus argued back without even looking up from his book.

"What happened this time?" you looked at both of them. They looked quite shocked as they didn't see you before. Even Klaus looked up from his book. "He asked me if I'm on my period because of how I'm acting! What the hell Klaus?" "Woah, okay, Klaus, you really can't ask us something like that." "She didn't even answer me!"

When did Klaus start becoming so irretable. You don't remember him being like this on the boat or the year before. Was he this done with Emily? "You're just jealous I'm actually going out with someone!" Emily shouted and left the common room, into the dormitory. Klaus looked like he was about to cry, which was unusual for him because of his normal emotion-less expression. "You like Emily, right?" you asked. He looked up and wiped his tears quickly. "Yes?" "Then you can't keep on trying to dabate with her. At this point, you guys should be getting together as friends." you said, making sure to pick out the right words. He nodded and you decided to leave him to think about it. You went to Emily to make sure she was ok.

As you stepped inside, you saw her. Her face was resting on her hands while her hands were trying to stop the waterfall out of her eyes. "Hey... How are you?" you said gently. She stood up, surprised. She wiped her tears away, at least the ones that would leave her alone, and smiled the best she could. "I'm fine, why do you ask?" "Let it go -you don't have to act strong in front of me." She sat down on the bed again, not hiding her emotions. "How can't he see it yet?" You looked at her. "See what? And don't you dare back out on telling me now." Silence fell. She was wondering if she should tell you or not. She looked at you, her black tears running down her face and her eyes made out of glass.

"I... Love him... I don't want to... But I do..." she tried to look away but each time she looked in another direction you would twist her head slitly back. "You have to give him time to see but you have to act like you normally would until he has feelings back. If he doesn't, there's not much you can do." She smiled. Even if it was probably fake, she smiled and looked brighter than before. She nodded many times and started wiping her face and doing her make up all over again.

You fell easily because of how tiring today was. You still have detention tomorrow, just that tomorrow you have to clean Filchs office with another student that has detention. The teacher wouldn't tell you who. Hopefully, it's not the twins. You really can't stand talking to them right now.

Your lessons passed by. Potions were getting harder while it was easier in defence against the dark arts, because of the basics that are easy to learn. Detention was here already. It felt like only minutes have passed since your last.

"Hello sir. Who am I cleaning your office with sir?" you looked hopefully. "The twin, he won't tell me which one he is." "But don't you choose who does it sir?" "Nope, I asked them and one of them nominated themself's." You smiled but as soon as you entered the room you rolled you eyes. "Why are you here Fred?" you took a book and started putting it in the right place. "How did you know? Nevermind that. You have to forgive us and me being here will make you."

Who did he think he was? He's only here today, does he know that. You won't have detention again, hopefully. Does he think he owns my voice? You tried not you look or talk to him the whole time.

"Look, George is going insane and its not good or funny anymore." Fred looked at you seriously but you kept on cleaning and ignoring him. "That day, do you remember, before Filch came in, when I said I thought he wanted to go slowly?" That's when you turned around to face him. You remembered what he said ever since the night he said it. "Ok, what did you mean by that?" He looked down at his feet. He didn't mean to tell you that, did he? Nope.

"Nevermind, I should've never said anything!" He turned back around but you kept staring at him with your arms crossed. "What. Do. You. Mean. Fred?" you asked him, more annoyed by the second. "I can't tell you. I promised him! The twins trust is more serious than any other promise!" "You have 5 seconds or I'll go ask him myself." "You wouldn't dare." "Wanna see? 1..."

(Sorry to end like this but it's a nice cliffhanger. You don't know if he will tell you or not. I would just like to apologise for how bad year 1 was written. Thank you for continuing anyways! I'm sorry if I did anything wrong but somehow I didn't have the time to edit any mistakes)
