A life without love

Easy to remember , Hard to forget

Tobias POV

I stare at the wall. Motionless.

I remember the first time we kissed. Beside the chasm.

I remember staring into her beautiful eyes when we broke away from the kiss , hand in hand. Her blue-grey eyes looking at me , with passion. With love.

I remember seeing her for the first time. How I wish to see that face one more time. Her perfect features. Her fragile frame. Her mesmerising eyes.

Tears begin to spill out of my eyes slowly. Its seems as though all I can think about is her and how she's never coming back.

I lay down on my bed and fall asleep hoping to wake up and find out that everything that happened was a dream. That when I wake up Tris will be lying right beside me.

I wake up. No sign of Tris. She must have gone out.I put on clean clothes and head out of my door.

I see Tris. I walk over to say 'hey' but before I could even say ' h' she turned away.

I kept following her until she turned round and said
“ Stop following me, you weirdo stalker.”

“But Tris-” I said before being cut off.

“ How do you know my name ! Get out of here ! Or I will get my boyfriend, Al ,to beat you up ! ”

I'm confused . What does she mean by her ' boyfriend' ? I thought I was her boyfriend.

“ Four ! Four ! ” somebody , I think its Zeke , calls “Four ! Four ! ”

“Hellooo Four ! Wake up !” Zeke shakes me awake.

“Ugh , finally, I thought that I'd be there all day ” he says with a hint of sarcasm.

Its nice to know that he isn't totally avoiding me becuase of Uriah.

“Hey Zeke ” I say. My eyes still adjusting to the brightness so I'm squinting.

When my eyes finally adjust I see he has put some  clothes out for me. He's in a smart shirt , a tie and pinstripe trousers.

“Whats the occasion?” I ask.

“ Well ” he answers “ Me , Christina , Shauna and Caleb are going to dinner and we thought that we would invite you along because you have been so down lately.”

Caleb. No . I can't . He'll remind me of her. I will try to be brave.

A pang of guilt hits me.

Uriah.

“ Sure ! ” I say putting on a fake

smile . “ Sounds like great fun !”

“ Awesome ! Meet you at six by the chasm. ”

The chasm. The place where I first kissed Tris Prior.The first time I knew that I could trust somebody so well.
