Mil and Estel (Aragorn love story)

Fall

"We need to make it to bridge of Khazad-dum"Gandalf said. We started to run.

 Boromir almost fell but luckily we caught him I sighed with relief. Gandalf stopped Aragorn. :"Lead them on Aragorn" Aragorn looked unsure. I put hand on his shoulder. "You can do it"I whispered. He nodded hesitating. "Do as I say swords are no use here anymore"Gandalf said.

I looked at him saying: "Be careful, dear", he just nods his eyes flickering with warmth.

As we ran down the stairs the steps fell behind us. We came to already fallen step. Legolas jumped first. "Gandalf"he urged. Gandalf jumped being balanced by Legolas. 

Aragorn tossed Sam to Legolas. Boromir jumped  hauling Merry and Pippin with him. Aragorn was about to throw Gimli but he stopped him. "Nobody tosses a dwarf"He said stubbornly. A very common trade for a dwarf.

And it's cause was that as he tried to jump, he fell on the way. Luckily Legolas caught him by his beard. "Not the beard!", He was about to  lose his life and the thing he is the most concerned about is his beard?

 Then the stairs me, Aragorn and Frodo were on parted more and more. "Lean forward!"Aragorn instructed. We did so and the stairs started to lean closer. We jumped before the steps crashed and  Aragorn was balanced by Legolas, Frodo by Gandalf and Boromir caught me. "Thank you"I said kissing his cheek. "Over the bridge!"Gandalf commanded.

 "Fly!" Then Balrog showed it's ugly face. "You can not pass!"Gandalf yelled. "Gandalf!"Frodo yelled. "We are the servants of the light. Fire of Udun!"Gandalf yelled. "Go back to the Shadow. You shall not pass"he yelled. The Balrog fell.

 Some of the company smiled , but I knew the tricks of cursed beings. I kept my thoughts hopeful till it wrapped itself around Gandalfs ankle pulling him with it. He grabbed the edge. I was about to run only to be held back by to muscular arm."Gandalf", I screamed my heart clenching at the sight. My mind was screaming: "Do not let him fall, do  not let him burn"

 "Fly you fools"Gandalf yelled. Then, the most horrifying thing happened. He fell. Into  the fire. Fire that cursed thing that has ruined my life "NOOO!!!"me and Frodo yelled. I felt numb. I did not cry, or scream anymore. I was just numb. He fell. I was not able to safe him. I betrayed him. The wisest man I know, is dead. Burned to ash. Just ash.

I gave up and just let the one who held me carry me away. This journey was going to get complicated. Without Gandalf,  we were lost.
