My little protector did as he said. I'm in tears many nights knowing my mate is taking out his anger on our son. It's sickening. I wish we could just run away but there's no way out. I've tried but can never get my boys to safety. As soon as this one is born I will make sure to take everything I can for them. I don't care if Carson hits me I just want to protect my pups.

The baby is past his due date. I can't wait to look in his little face.

"Hey momma how are you feeling?" I hear little Andy ask as he enters the living room.

"I'm good Andy... your brother will be here any day now." I say making a beautiful smile break across his face.

"Can't wait! What are you naming him?" He asks looking at my large belly.

"Aaron." I answer as he sits next to me.

"Hey baby brother." He says leaning over my stomach. His little hand is placed firmly on top of it as he speaks. "I'm gonna protect you and teach you lots of stuff! We're gonna play and have fun. Momma's great! You'll like her... but you already know that. You like her a little to much I think. The doctor said you'd be here two days ago! Come on Aaron I wanna meet you." I laugh as I place my hand over his little one as it sets on the baby bump.

"He can take his time Andy." I tell him with a smile.

"I'm just excited ma! I can't..."

"Junior!" He is interrupted by his father.

"Yes Father!" My boy jumps up and begins fussing with his clothes.

"You were supposed to meet me in my office after school!" He yells smacking Andy across the side of his head. My boy stumbles holding his ear. "How hard is it to follow orders Carson!"

"I apologize father... I was checking on momma and baby Aaron." Andy tells him. He snorts.

"So that's what you decided to name the mutt?" My mate sneers at me.

"If you mean your son than yes." I nearly growl placing a protective hand on my stomach.

"I have an heir. The spawn inside you is nothing but a mistake you refused to correct! It's your son not mine!" He yells at me. I feel tears in my eyes but refuse to let them fall. This is his child he's talking about. "With me boy!" My mate orders our eldest. Sudden pain has me crying out.

"Carson! It's time!" I yell to my mate who snorts.

"Your pup your problem." He says as another contraction hits.

"Father please!" I hear Andy beg for his help.

"You can help her." He growls and my boy runs to my side and begins helping me out the door. "Report to the training grounds when your done boy!" I feel Andy flinch at his words but he continues to help me.

"You should go Andy." I say as we approach the pack house. The longer he waits the angrier his father will become.

"Not until you're safe and taken care of." He insists.

"I'm the parent and you are 9. You don't want to anger your father any more." I plead with him to leave me. I can take it from here.

"No momma!... I'll survive him... he wouldn't kill his heir. You on the other hand... think of Aaron. He needs you to be safe so he can be born." My little protector refuses to leave me.

"I don't deserve you Andy." I respond and he growls.

"No you don't deserve him!"

"He gave me you and Aaron... for that it's worth it." I tell him and he sighs. A deep sigh to big for a nine year old.

"Carson!" Doc Green yells. "Bring her in here!" Andy helps me to follow the doctor.

"Luna, Where's Alpha?" Doc asks.

"Not coming." I groan in pain.

"Momma!" My boy yells holding my hand.

"Go now Andy!" I order him now that we've made it.

"No! You need me you're in pain!" He argues.

"Your father." I remind him as the pain returns.

"Go Carson... don't leave the Alpha waiting." Doc tells him knowing how my mate is.

"But momma!" Andy argues.

"I've got her pup, go!" Doc says. I nod to my pup. He releases my hand and runs out of the pack house.

It's just me and the doc as I deliver my newest pup. As much as I wish I had a mate here I'm grateful mine isn't.

"Carson!" Doc yells running up to Andy as I hold little Aaron in my arms.

"He didn't come for her?" He asks through panting breaths.

"No, he hasn't been here." Doc answers putting Andy in a bed. My poor baby! All I can do is watch as the doctor works on my strong boy.

"Good." Andy sighs obviously relieved. Doc shakes his head.

"The shirt." Doc orders him and begins wrapping up the little guy's chest.

"Can I see him?" Andy asks. I can't help but smile. He loves his brother so much.

"7lbs 3oz... he's a strong pup already." Doc says handing Andy his brother. "Watch the head." Doc says showing him how to hold the baby. My heart melts at my pups next words.

"He'll never touch you Aaron." He whispers. "As long as I live he will not hurt you!"

I start to cry as I watch the embrace. My little protector now has another charge.
