-100 readers special-

literally pog! thank you so very much, you guys give me motivation to keep writing, and i hope one day i'll give you the same happiness through this story that you gave me with your time <3 i hope you enjoy this chapter it was definitely my favorite yet (:

the silence between the three was light, it didn't mean much and it felt much more comfortable to dream than being cramped inside the stuffy house.

"i could really go from some easy cheese right about now, all this partying has tuckered me out." sapnap sighed pulling out his phone.

"what?" george turned his head towards sapnap, causing dream to turn towards sapnap as well.

"i really want some easy cheese right now." he swiped away, his phone dangerously close to falling on his face.

"what does that mean?" george stared at sapnap confused.

"i want easy cheese, it's not that hard george, catch up."

"no, what is easy cheese?"

"spray cheese?" sapnap looked away from his screen to eye george's reaction.

"i literally don't know what that is." george turned from facing sapnap to face dream.

"you don't know what spray cheese is?" dream had to ask, raising his eyebrows.

"did you like live under a rock for all of your life?" sapnap shook his head and turned back to his phone.

"no, what's spray cheese?"

george turned to ask dream but sapnap answered instead, "you know it's pretty self explanatory george."

"what, is it like spray paint?" george asked genuinely concerned about the topic. both dream and sapnap began laughing, probably picturing spray paint cheese. the door behind them was slid open and they all turned too look at the new face.

"oh, hey karl, sorry for leaving you behind and all-"

"sorry to cut this short but,"

dream realized karl was out of breath and sat up from resting on the patio chair. karl was a skater, skaters don't get out of breath like that.

"the cops are on their way here, we need to leave now." as soon as the sentence left his mouth an alarm could be heard in the distance. dream took no hesitation to stand from the chair, ready to run. both george and sapnap shared a look.

"you're joking. we're not doing anything illegal." sapnap was skeptical about the entire situation.

"i'm not. i swear." karl threw his hands up in defense, still out of breath. dream stood in between the table and karl. he began tearing the skin beside his thumb. he didn't like how they were just sitting there waiting for something to happen.

dream decided to speak up, the anxiety of the situation eating him up inside. "i don't think he's joking guys."

"he jokes around like that all the time dream, nothing to worry about." sapnap was nonchalant.

"okay but what about the siren?" george was getting won over. "that couldn't just be a coincidence."

the alarm was heard closer this time.

"sapnap, skaters don't run unless they have to, karl would not be out of breath unless he was running. we have to go. now." for some reason the urgency in dream's voice made sapnap stand from the seat.

sapnap began walking to open the sliding door when he looked through the house to see the front door open to a cop. "shit." the boys turned towards the door. and sapnap began running down the stairs of the deck.

they all followed making their way off the deck. at the bottom of the stairs they heard the door slide open. dream looked back to see a handful of terrified girls and their accompanying boyfriends. having been in their position before he decided he was responsible for getting those kids out of there.

"karl, go look for a gate, me and sapnap are going to try to calm down these girls."

karl nodded in response saluting to dream as he ran in the direction of the fencing.

"be fast." sapnap called out towards karl.

the two approached a group of girls who were now standing at the bottom of the stairs nearly on the verge of tears. "hey, we're going to get you out of here, whether it's the last thing i do." his words didn't seem to calm the girls but karl called to him.

"the gate is locked, but there's a low fence with an a.c .unit on the other side we just need to help lift them over."

dream nodded, "okay, can you guys follow me, we're going to get you out of here. i promise." as they approached the low fence dream could see the flashing lights of the cop cars through the space in between the fencing.

dream began whispering,"when you get over the fence walk behind the house and then run when you get to the other side. can you all do that?" he got nods in response and heard a few cries.

"alright, youngest first." a short girl with dark hair followed him to the fence. "after i boost you, pull yourself over and drop down, you won't fall all the way, just jump down from there."

sapnap stood with dream to help hoist up the group of kids faster, karl helped tell each of them exactly what to do after they got out of the backyard. it was a flawless program. they cleared the group quickly and only they were left.

"we meet up at sapnap's house." dream spoke to karl giving him a fist bump just before he hoisted him over the fence. next he helped sapnap. he heard heavy footsteps on the deck and turned to see flashlights pointed in the dark. his heart practically stopped in his chest.

"dream?" he could hear sapnap call and he let out a breath.

"they're here, clear the area, make sure those girls got away, text me when you get to sapnap's house."

"oh my fuck." hes could hear the nerves settling in sapnap.

"i'll be fine. go. now."

"we won't let you down dream." he could picture karl standing on the other side of the fence saluting. when he heard them begin to run he turned back towards the backyard to find a place to hide. what he didn't expect was to see george staring back at him with wide eyes.

"oh my god george."
