two - head over heels

'...He was so elegant, I fell for him that day.'
Were the words written in a small note y/n found in her drawer some months after her so called 'accident' happened.
Feeling a sense of deja vu, y/n locked her eyes to Tendou, holding a volleyball that was glued on his forehead. His eyes were closed, indicating his concentration as if he's pouring his heart into his play. He slowly let out an exhalation before opening his eyes.
The ball was gently... gracefully sent flying in the air. A light-footed leap shone in front of y/n's eyes. He was flying simultaneously with the ball. Then flawlessly hit it.
That was the most precious jump float serve y/n had ever seen.
'.The first time that I saw his different side, his eyes were closed. I noticed those simple details of him. How he let out a heavy yet gentle sigh. How he threw the ball in the air, how his moves were fascinating. He was so dedicated and passionate with his play... He was so elegant, I fell for him that day.'
What y/n had seen was stated in that note. She wondered if that poem-like letter was pointing Tendou's jump float serve she just saw.
No.
Of course not. It didn't state who was that person she fell for, right? Deja vu, deja vu... oh come on, she's just overwhelmed. There's no shot.
"Why are you here?" Tendou's sudden voice made y/n flinched.
"O-oh hi. I just heard some footsteps and dribbles. I was just wondering who's practicing this late,"
The man didn't respond. Instead, he walked away to prepare his stuff. "Uhm so how did you know my name again?" said y/n a bit louder for him to hear. "Yesterday... how did you know my name?" she repeated, taking some steps closer.
"I told you I won't tell," he said, without looking.
"Fine. how about your name?"
For a moment, it went silent. "Tendou," said the man, quietly but loud enough for her to hear. "Tendou Satori," he said once again, but this time, looking directly in y/n's eyes.
Y/n scanned his face. Some people might say he's intimidating but if you'd look clearly... closely, he's looking fine.
"What, is it that bad? staring at a monster's feature too much, eh?"
"No. you weren't a monster to me," she said, looking away.
"Pft." he scoffed but from the corner of your eye, his ears were turning into a tomato. Cute. Y/n thought without even thinking. "Thanks," He randomly said that made y/n confused.
"Hah? for what?"
"You think I'm cute heh~" He teased, grinning a little that made y/n look away even more.
"W-what the h-hell!" Her face flared red, feeling the heat on her cheeks. She was indeed blushing like an idiot. "Stop fooling around, how can you say so.." she pouted.
"I'm good at reading," said Tendou. "You know what?" he asked.
"W-what?"
The next words that came out from his mouth were anesthetizing , she was frozen in place with a stomach tied up in knots.
"I think you're cute too."
