seven - play

There was nothing to do after class so y/n took some walk around the school by herself.
The environment was calm as early spring. Y/n beamed as the wind that has the earthly fragrance struck her face. The shade of blue painted in the sky made the flowers dance along with the wind.
The sound of dribbling balls and squeaking of shoes filled the gymnasium. Y/n heard those noises hence she went in. There, she saw Goshiki covered in sweats.
"Y/n!" Goshiki yelled and waved hello to y/n who waved back.
"What's up?" y/n said as they exchanged high five.
"All good. We're about to play volleyball with bokuto and kuroo,"
"Is it allowed though?"
"Uh- kinda illegal? but perfectly fine!" said Goshiki that made y/n in shambles. "We just decided to hang out and play volleyball here, we're friends after all. Also bokuto and kuroo want to visit you," Goshiki said excitedly.
When you heard the name 'Kuroo' for the second time, it sank in. "What what? Kuroo?! t-the one at the last practice match???"
"Yep. The one who flirted with you a lot,"
"ARE YOU FOR REAL? THAT CAT?!"
"More like a rooster..."
"Talking about me again?" another voice interrupted. It was Kuroo. Y/n immediately sighed, knowing that Kuroo would be annoying. "Hi cutie,"
Y/n took a deep breath once again with a frown on her face, ignoring the rooster and before she could walk away, Goshiki spoke.
"It's three over three and we need another player, y/n I am already begging," said Goshiki with teary eyes to gain sympathy. "Tendou would be here, pwea-"
"Fine."

Y/n examined the players and saw Tendou looking at her but he quickly looked away.
"So Satori's here..." Y/n whispered with a little pleasure flowing within her. She was glad, she was able to see Tendou perform in an actual play for the first time.
"Yeah, Because he's going to be with us the next year so why not," said Ushijima that startled y/n with his sudden appearance.
Kuroo and Bokuto were on y/n's team and since there's no setter on the other, Goshiki decided to set for Ushijima.
The game started and flowed really well.

"Bokuto-san!" y/n yelled as her fingers reached the ball and tossed it in the air towards bokuto who immediately took a leap with a great smile on his face but soon enough faded after his spike was blocked by no other than Tendou.
"Crystal clear," Tendou whispered with a little smirk. Y/n was frozen in her place, amazed at how much of a monster he was. A guess monster.
"Someone with guts, I see." Kuroo spoke with annoyance. Y/m mouthed a little sorry for Bokuto and again Kuroo interrupted. "Hey, it's alright~" he said gently caressing y/n's cheek with a smirk on his face.
"Y/n..." Bokuto pouted "Please do not toss it to me again," said Bokuto dramatically.
"Oi! stop being dramatic let's get back to work," Y/n lectured with a raising
From time to time, Tendou blocked a lot of spikes from Bokuto and some spikes from Kuroo. Y/n was impressed with his nonhuman play. I mean, who wouldn't be?
"Looks like Bokuto's just in his 30% percent today," Y/n laughed while preparing her things.
"Y/n, stop teasing me." Bokuto cried out loud. "The blocker's just sweaty. I was actually try harding as well so to correct you, that's 50%," he added.
After being covered in sweats, everyone prepared their stuff and cleaned up the gym. "Hey," Kuroo took some steps closer to y/n and tried to wrap his arm around her waist.
"What are you doing?" Y/n insisted and slapped his snaky hand.
"I just missed you, Y/n. is something the matte-" Kuroo was cut off after ball sent flying on his head.
Kuroo had a slight furrow between his brows and stared pointedly at Tendou, the one who did it by accident or perhaps on purpose.
"Pft.." Y/n tried to hold back her laugh but ended up bursting into laughter.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to." Tendou said in a monotone voice. Dead eyes and a bored look were displayed on his face at that time.
"Oi, you two! Kuroo and Y/n stop flirting around. Get a room," they all teased. Y/n turned his gaze to Tendou who was already walking away.
