Chapter seven

Tiana POV

 Christy thinks she’s bad, huh? We’ll see who’s bad and we’ll see who gets August in the end of all this drama. It ain’t over yet, he’s my man and it’s just not right because I had him first and that’s the way it should be.

  What am I talking about? That’s the way it will be.

  Sometimes, I think I need to chill with their relationship and fall back because I’m not getting anywhere in the process of getting August back. I’m probably just his side and probably not even that cause Aug doesn’t want me. Christy was right though. She serves me every time, but it’s just hard when you want someone so badly even though I’m the one that cheated on him.

  I’m tired of Christy beating me, though. So for once, I’m gonna try to settle this, even though I’ve done some bad things in the past month.

  To be honest, I did have something to do with August’s shooting. You know Brandon? Yeah, well I cheated on August with him, so I knew that him and Christy went together. She still doesn’t know I’m the one that Brandon cheated on her with. I know I’ve already done enough, but when it comes to my man, I’ll go wild for him. I’ll do anything for him; to get him back in my loving arms, not hers.

  OH GOD!

  Why do I keep doing this to myself? I need to stop before Christy puts me in my place again, like she always does. I’ve come to terms that Christy doesn’t play. AT ALL.

  I am a little jealous though because Christy has it all. She had his first child, they’re married, and she always keeps him happy. She’s beautiful and has a nice body, and she is a good wife to August. I should stop trying to break them up just for their kids. If they weren’t here, I would have been tryna get him back even though I probably would have failed like I always do, but I also want their kids in a safe environment. You can say I have some motherly instincts. I know if I had a child, I wouldn’t want any one, and I mean no one, harming them. That’s really the only thing that’s holding me back besides the fact that Christy knows how to throw hands, will go to war for Aug, and knows how to hold him down, something I really couldn’t do. I’m just going to see if Brandon wants to get with me, cause I really am getting tired of chasing Aug, when I know he’s not leaving Christy. I’m just about to go over here with the little balls I have left and talk to Christy.

  *Drives to their house*

  When I pull up, I see that their car is in the driveway. I mean it is only 1 p.m. aint nobody doing nothing. I get out the car and walk to the door. I hesitantly knock before I tap the door. I hear Christy say, “Who is it?”

 “Its me, Tiana.” I say.

  “Why you at my house? Didn’t I already have a talk with ya?” she snapped. I heard a hint of attitude and slight annoyance in her voice.

  “Yes but no, I didn’t come here to be messy. I’m coming here like the grown women I should be. I’m gonna take your word and stop chasing Aug because I know he is not leaving you anytime soon. I mean look at you! You’re FLAWLESS and I don’t know why I keep coming back when every time you beat me. I’m gonna stop. There’s more that I have to tell you. I wanna do that when we can sit as adults in an appropriate manner. Um, that’s all and here’s my number so we can talk. I know you may not like me or trust me, but I’m just now realizing that I need to quit acting like a child and tell you what’s up. If you wanna go to lunch around three, we can do that?” I suggested, waiting for her reaction.

  She eyed me for a moment before slowly nodding her head in agreement. “Yea, that’s cool. I’ll give you a ca-“ she said. Suddenly, she was interrupted by August’s lovely voice in the background.
