Chapter twenty

A few months later, Specifically month of September

Christy P.O.V

So today is August's birthday, and cierra's birthday. Shayla has the kids already so thats good. Right now aug and i are laying in the bed cuddled up. He's been sad every since his brother's passing day anniversary a couple of days ago, but he promised after we chilled a bit that i can do somethings for him.

"Baby, you ok" i asked as i massaged his head. He was crying.

"Yea im just- im just not taking the fact that my brother has been gone for years, and its really hitting me hard this time around" he said. I rubbed his back, as small faint tears escaped my eyes.

"Baby it'll be fine, i got you and you know mel got you too, he's looking out at you realizing how much you've accomplished" i said. He than hugged me tightly.

"I just miss him " he said crying into my chest.

"August its your birthday im pretty sure mel dont want you crying nor cierra" i said which made him smile a little.

"Even though its not her day i need to see mariah" he said. Im guessing because she was born april 13, two days before Mel's birthday.

"Okay ill call shayla for you" i said getting my phone. I called and let her know what was going on, and she agreed to bring riah. Shayla had a key so she let herself in and brought her upstairs.

"Hey boo" she said. She than gave riah to august.

"Hey" i said as she hugged me

"How you holding up t-rex" she said earning a slight chuckle from aug.

"could be better butter teeth" aug said.

"Ima let you have that big bro" she said walking over to him giving him a hug and a kiss on the cheek." I love you aug."

"I love you too sis" he said as he held onto a sleeping riah. She recently turned 2. 

"Bye bestfriend" shayla said.

"Bye bestfriend " i said to her. She than left. It was still early, around 6:30.

"Baby will it be ok if we got up at 2 to go eat and get you my gift" i asked.

"Yea ill be fine by than" he said kissing riah's forehead.

"Ok" i said scooting close to him. He than  kissed my lips.

"I appreciate you so much" he said.

"I appreciate you too" i said rubbing his ear.

"I love you" he said.

"I love you more baby, forever" i said kissing his forehead. With that we went to sleep.

August P.O.V

After my morning sadness i felt better, especially since riah was with me. It was going on 1 and we needed to be ready by two, so i got in the shower. After my shower i did my hygiene things, than went on the balcony to smoke me a blunt. In the middle of me doing that i felt little arms wrap around my neck. Christy than came and sat in my lap pulling her knees to her chest.

"How you feeling baby" she asked.

"Much better" i said.

 She just grabbed my face, and stared at me.

"What you looking at-"

"Shhh im admiring your beauty" she said cutting me off.

"No what was all that for" i asked after she gently kissed my lips.
