Maries POV
(Christy's mom)

So last time yall really heard from me was when christy came home and i was about to go on a date with Jace. Well to update yall on him we are still talking, 10 months, surprisingly. Infact we're going on a date tonight. He said he had something special for me. So i cant wait.
As of right now we are currently at his house.

"Jace come here" i yelled. He was downstairs watching TV waiting for me to get done.

"Here i come babe" he said.

" ok im in the room" i said.

" im right her- wow you look gorgeous" he said walking over to me.

" Thank you" i said as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

" Wow i could just eat you right now" he said looking at me in a way i couldn't put my finger on.

" well i mean if you want cake you'll have to eat it too" i said whispering into his ear.

" you already know how i do" he said licking my bottom lip.

" baby i am not young anymore and im barely 48 so you licking my lip like that gone get you in trouble" i said.

" well your trouble aint nothing i cant handle" he said grabbing my bottom.

" oh really" i said raising my brows.

" i mean i can show you better than i can tell you but unfortunately we have places to be sweety" he said.

"I can show you better than i can tell you" i mocked.

"Keep on and i can cancel our reservations" he said smirking.

"Keep on" i mocked once again.

" Stop being childish before we not go no where" he said putting his hands in his pockets.

" ok i will stop cause i did not get this cute to stay in this house" i said.

" you have really pretty feet and thats something i rarely say" he said.

"Why thank you baby" i said grabbing his face.

" you ready to go" he said looking down at me.

"Yes" i replied as i took in his bottom lip.

And with that we left heading towards my favorite italian restaurant Polonioe's.

Jace POV

So as you all know we're going on a date and i have a surprise for her. My surprise to her will be popping the big question. We've been seeing each other for almost a year now but it feels like we've been together for ages. Im just really comfortable, content, and very happy around her. Marie is the sweetest person ever and i want to spend the rest of my life with her. Only bad thing is, that her and her ex husband are close friends but she said she's done with him. Also i think he seeing someone too but thats beaides the point.

So we just got here and were going to go in.

"Baby i cant wait to give you my gift" i said grabbing her hand.

" i cant wait either" she said pecking my lips.

Once we got in we got our table than ordered our drinks.

" i want another child for some reason" she blurted.

" that was random" i said.

"I know i just feel like having another child" she said.

" well can you still produce" i said.

"I dont know but thats a good question to ask" i said.

Yea itll be weird having a child the age of 48 but who cares i have zero kids and i atleast want one.

" it would be great to have a child seeing that i dont have any of my own" i said.

" well id be glad to have your baby" she said.

"So we talking about babies what about marriage" i said.

" thats what im waiting for. Ive been waiting and cant wait any longer for that time but im willing to be patient for you" she said.

That only boosted me. Knowing that the love of your life feels the same way back is one of the best ive ever felt.

"thats interesting to know" i said grabbing her hands.

" i love you jace" she said.

"I love you too baby" i said.

Our food came and we ate for about 30 minutes before i was ready. Everyone here lnows my plans too.

" babe you have some stuff on your face" i said.

" well let me run to the bathroom and ill be right back" she said. As soon as she was oit of sight i got down on one knee and pulled out my ring. The workers ran out and set the balloons. After 2 minutes she returned.

"Babe there was nothing on m- Awwwww my god" she said before she began to cry.

" jace are you serious right now am i dreaming" she said.

" no baby you are not. This right here is foreal and ibjust want you too know that i appreciate you and adore you as well. Youve made me the happiest man over the last couple of years and a title doesnt matter to me vecause i already feel like im married to you but i will do whatever to make you happy. Marie you showed me new beggingings and happy endings and i cant so nothing but thank you for it. This right here is forever and i mean that with everything in me. Baby i promise to always love you and give you the whole world because you deserve it, literally. You are the sweetest person ever and you dedicate yourself to me to im willing to fully commit to you once and for all. Marie Davis Will you marry me?" i said.

" will you marry me wait am i hearing this correctly or maybe im just over exaggerating yea thats it" she said aloud.

" babe your thinking out loud" i said.

"Im sorry but did you really ask me that" she said biting her lip.

" yes i did" i said walking to her.

" yes jace- yes baby ill marry you" she finally said as she came over to me and kissed me. Everyone clapped for us.

" i love you jace" she said looking me in my eyes.

"I love you too baby" i said.

" Forever" she questioned.

" Forever and always" i said.

I decided to text christy, and mama sheila to let them know the big announcement.

Short i know but what did you guys think. Oh and sorry i havent updated i recentlybgot over the dlu and a sinus infection it was a horrible experience.
