Taehyung picked his items up and went to the check out where an old lady smirked at him.

"A date?"

"Yeah, it's our anniversary today.. can't believe we've been together for 7 years now"

"That's adorable! Did you get him a gift?"

"I got him and I promise rings and matching bracelets"

"God I wish my husband was like that too.. well that would be £30 good sir"

"Thank you" he said, swiping his card in the machine
"No problem, I hope you have a good evening" the lady smiled waving slightly

Taehyung new her ever since they moved to their new flat 3 years ago. She was the nicest lady working at that store plus she was the owner of the flat. A wonderful lady

He picked up his bags and headed for the exit. It was already 6 pm so if he wanted to make the date happen he would have to be ready by 8. That's when jungkook would be coming home from jimins

Jimin of course was a mutual friend of them both so he knew exactly what was happening

Climbing up the stairs taehyung checked the time one more time. Anxiety filling his guts

"What if he doesn't like the bracelets.." taehyung whispered to himself. Shaking that thought off he stepped on the last step and put his keys through the key hole

It didn't turn.

"What the fuck?"

He tried the handle and the door opened. It can't be jungkook because he's with jimin and he's supposed to keep him busy until 8?!

He stepped into the flat, straight away being hit with a strong smell of his favourite dish

"Hiii!!! There you are! Where have you been??? It's starting to get cold" jungkook hopped to him excitedly, almost jumping on him for a kiss

"I've been to the shop what-"

" I cooked us a meal for our anniversary!! " jungkook smiled his bunny smile and grabbed taehyungs hand, leading him to the kitchen

"I was gonna do that" taehyung pouted, lifting the bag with the ingredients up

Jungkook turned around with a face of realisation

"Ohh so that's where you were.. well we can have that tomorrow!! We can have an anniversary weekend" jungkook out his hands on the both sides of his face as if that was the most grandiose idea ever

"I guess we could.. so what's you cook???"

Jungkook excitedly led him to his seat, placed a few candles on the table and placed a few napkins.

"I just wanna say I really love you, thank you for being my home, my life and thank you for being the source of my never ending love. I'm sure you've heard all of this before but I will keep reminding you that nothing in this world is more precious to me than you. I love you"

" I love you too" taehyung was so close to crying but he held it in to not ruin the night

" I got us matching rings!!" Taehyung exclaimed

"Bro you're the cutest"

"Don't ever use bro with me again. Got it?"

"OOP, getting feisty" jungkook laughed "okay eat, it's really good"
