"What am I even doing here?" (Y/n) had just docked on the island where her ex-lover was holding their wedding. She had only learned about the wedding a few weeks ago but knew immediately that she needed to see them again. Well that was her first thought but now she wasn't so sure, (Y/n) knew that she still loved them but what if they were happy without her?
"I need to see them one last time or I'll regret it for the rest of my life" The island's streets weren't too crowded but she managed to stop one person and when she did (Y/n) asked them a question. "Do you know where the wedding is being held?" The person had laughed at her but quickly gave her the directions to where she would find the building.
She thanked them before she made her way towards her destination. (Y/n)'s heartbeat was pounding in her ears like a drum but she continued forward. "It's just up the road, I don't have much time left" The young girl knew their wedding would be in full swing by now but she only hoped to reach them before they could say I do.

(Y/n) stood outside of the building as she went over what she would say once she entered the building but the young girl was stumbling over her words as she paced back and forth. "The wedding is going to be over if I don't hurry up" Taking a deep breath (Y/n) finally pushed the doors opened and walked into the building, she could hear the priest speak and she knew it was now or never.
"If anyone can show just cause why this couple cannot lawfully be joined together in matrimony, let them speak now or forever hold their peace" (Y/n) heard it from the door to her left so quickly entered the door as everyone in the space turned to look at her, including her ex-lover.
"I object to this marriage!"
