Flashback...

"Stay away from that creature (Y/n)! Just let it die!" I ignored the other villagers as I approved the fishman that had washed at on the shore. "He is just like us! If you don't like it then go home, I'm not going to let him die!" They didn't give me a second look as they turned around and left the beach.

With them gone I carefully walked up to the fishman as I took in the injuries, he had they didn't look to bad but the one across his chest had me worried. "How am I going to get you back to my house?" I wasn't exactly the strongest person on the island and I was sure that this man wasn't the lightest either.

"I'll just have to start dragging you back then... you got this (Y/n)!"

After what felt like hours, I had finally managed to get the man back to my house and bandage up his wounds. He looked peaceful as he slept on couch but I couldn't help and wonder who had done this to him. "Who are you?" I hadn't expected him to be awake so soon and after I touched his cheek the man's eyes shot open as he pinned me to the floor.

That was such hate in his eyes as hands wrapped themselves around my throat. "I-It's o-o-okay. I-I'm g-going to help you" I smiled up at him as I felt the grip start to disappear from my neck but he didn't remove himself from my body. "I'm (Y/n), who are you and do you mind getting off of me? You're kind of heavy"

"Shut up human! I'll be making this house my temporary home until my crew can pick me up and I'll do whatever I tell you, understood!?" He still never told me his name though I was glad that he moved off of me and was now sitting on the couch. "Oh course, I'm going to take care of you! Your injuries weren't too bad but the wound on your chest could open back up if you move around too much so please be careful. Can I know you're name?"

"Hm... Call me Arlong and I'll just call you Little Human"

One Month Later...

"Stop doing that Arlong! Give it back!" I was standing on my tippy toes but I still couldn't retrieve the item the man was holding over my head. "Nope~ If you can reach it you can have it back (Y/n)" It had been an interesting past month though the one good thing that happened was that Arlong stopped calling me Little Human and started to use my actual name.

'Knock' 'Knock' 'Knock'

"Wait here (Y/n)" Arlong handed me back my hairbrush as he walked out of my bedroom but I quickly ran in front of him. "No, you wait here! This is my house!" We fought until we reached the door and when I managed to open the door a few fishmen were standing outside of it. "Can I help you?"

"We're looking for Arlong" I was pulled behind Arlong as he greeted the men but when he was done, I was thrown over Arlong's shoulder as he followed behind the men. "Who's the human Boss?"

"This is (Y/n) and she's going to come with us"

Six Months Later...

"I love you so much (Y/n)~ You're the only human that will ever be shown mercy by me" Hearing Arlong say that made my stomach drop as I curled up to his side. If he meant that how would he react to me being pregnant with his child, I had heard him say that half-breeds were unnatural and didn't deserve to live. Maybe it would be better if I just left now.

"Is something wrong (Y/n)? You're been pretty quiet today" His finger tips tapped against my bare skin as he turned his head to look at me. "No, I'm just a little tired... I think I'm going to have a nap" He nodded his head as he slid off our bed and started to put his clothing back on. "Alright, I have somethings that I need to get done today but I'll check on you later"

"Okay~" When Arlong left the room I stared at the ceiling as I thought about what I needed to do next. If I was going to leave, I needed to go today, even though I didn't want to a knew it would just my baby the best chance at surviving. "I'm sorry..."

Two Year Later...

It had been two years since I last seen Arlong but Jinbie had just given me heartbreaking news. "He's really getting married Jinbie?" I didn't know why it hurt as much as it did since I was the one who left him and I would have been foolish to think he wouldn't have fall in love with someone else. "(Y/n) if you still love him then you must go to him. He still loves you I've heard the way he talks about you when he's drinking"

"I don't deserve a second chance Jinbei"

"Yes, you do (Y/n), you gave Arlong a second chance even after you seen all the terrible things he does. Please, I will bring you to the island where the weddings being held" I bit my lip as I looked back at my son who was swimming around in the pool. "Will he accept him? I will not stay with a man who can't love their own child... it doesn't matter about my feeling towards him, my son comes first"

"You'll never know unless you try (Y/n)"

"Okay... I'll go"

Present...

"I object to this marriage!" Some people in the room did stand up at the sight of a human crashing the wedding but when they seen that Jinbei was standing behind me, they backed off. "(Y/n) what are you doing here and why is Jinbei with you!? Was he the reason you left, you found someone better!?"

"You told me once that half-breeds were unnatural and didn't deserve to live... do you still think that's true?" As I finished speaking, I took a step to the side so Arlong could see my son who was hiding behind me. "Y-You left because... you were pregnant?"

It didn't take long for Arlong to reach us but his sudden movement caused my son to flee the room. "Ahhhh!" I started running after him as I completely forgot about Arlong. "(Y/n) wait!" My mind was too focused on making sure my son didn't hurt himself or get himself lost, to care that Arlong was running after me. Though I stopped dead in my tracks as I seen a fishman was holding my son up by his shirt and he held a blade in the other. "No!"

"Put him down!" I seen a flash of purple as Arlong run past me and freed our son before he started punching the person who had tried to hurt him. "Don't touch my son!"

"Stop hitting him Arlong, you're going to kill him!" Thankfully Jinbei and a few others managed to separate the two fishmen before Arlong returned to my side as he pulled me into a kiss. "I'd like it if you came back (Y/n). I'll keep you both safe"

"I'd like to come back to. I love you"

"I love you to (Y/n)"
