Flashback...

"(Y/n) there you are! He's requested that you to join him in the tub!" I was hiding out for the day but someone had managed to find me. Though I can't stay that I'm surprised he always knew exactly where I was so he only needed to send someone to fetch me. "How many others are there?"

"Only a few (Y/n) but you know if you don't go, he'll come looking for you himself" My feet touched the gold floors as I started walking towards where I'd find Tesoro. I may have loved Tesoro and he may have said he loved me to once but the many girl's that surrounded that man told me differently. If things stayed the same as they were now it wouldn't be much longer before lost it.

How he could say that he loved, yet he still treated me like nothing more than one of his 'tub girls'. Didn't he see the hurt in my eyes as I watched the other girls touch him every day as I sat on the other side of the tub with a frown on my face not saying anything about it. "That's not love"

My eyes only looked up as I approached the door, Tanaka was standing there to greet me. "Ah (Y/n)-chan! Please right this way, he's been waiting for you~" I took a deep breath before I followed behind him, it didn't take long before my eyes locked on his. "(Y/n) come on love give me a smile~ Look I even got this swimsuit for you to wear today~"

A fake smile made its way onto my face as I took a few steps closer to him, I couldn't continue doing this any longer if he really loved me then why are all these other girls still here. "Thanks, Tesoro! Just let me go put it on and I'll be right back!"

"I knew you'd like. Yes, go put it on but don't take long (Y/n) I'll be waiting~" I don't have much time and since the change room is a fair distance away Tesoro would expect me to take at least five minutes, it wasn't much time but I only needed two to leave this place. He didn't love me back and it would only hurt me more each day I spent with him. He'll be upset for a few days though I'm sure I'll be replaced within a week.

"Why does it hurt so much!" I could no longer see Gran Tesoro in distance but there was a longing in my heart to turn around and go back to him. "Maybe one day he'll change" My eyes drifted down to my clothing as Tesoro's gold dust gave off a noticeable shine, before I quickly started washing it away with the sea water as I continued on to start my new life.

"I don't have to fake a smile anymore"

One Year Later...

"Hey! Hey! Hey! (Y/n) guess what I heard!?" What is wrong with this man, why can't he bother someone else? "You're too close Trebol and what did you hear?" I heard a chuckle behind me as I turned my head to look at Doflamingo, then my eyes drifted down to the girl sitting in his lap. His wife, if a man like Doflamingo could change why couldn't Tesoro? "Shut up Doffy!"

"Fufufufu. Sorry (Y/n) I'm just surprised you haven't heard the news yet" As Doflamingo continued laughing I seen his wife stand up before she started heading back inside. "Doffy stop being mean to (Y/n). Come on let's go back inside it's getting hot out and I don't want to burn"

"Trebol, I'll leave it to you to tell her. Wait for me birdie!" I watched as Doflamingo retreated back inside before I turned to face Trebol. "Well, spit it out!" It didn't take him long before the words were spilling from his mouth but I couldn't believe what I was hearing. "Gild Tesoro is getting married the wedding is in two weeks. Though if you still love him (Y/n), Doffy has directed his crew to take you to the island where the wedding is being held"

"What if he..."

Present...

"I object to this marriage!" Many stared at me in shock but the only person I was looking at was Tesoro and for whatever reason he had a grin on his face. The bride however just stood there with a small frown on her face, though after I said 'I object' there was a look of relief in her eyes.

"(Y-Y/n) what are you doing here!?" My eyes locked with Tesoro's shaded ones as I tried to think of a respond but the more, I stared at him the more I wanted to ran into his arms and have him hold me once again. "I still love you, Tesoro!"

My feet began to move on their own until I had my arms wrapped around his waist as the tears started pouring down my cheeks. "I thought I'd never see you again (Y/n)... why did you leave me?"

He picked me up off the ground as I whispered a reply into his ear, I didn't want anyone else to hear it. "I left because you were hurting me and I thought you didn't love me back" As I looked back at Tesoro's face, I could see the frown that had made its way onto his lips. It never good thing when this man frowned but then he did something that surprised me, he kissed me.

It didn't last too long, only a few seconds but it was enough for me. "I've always loved you (Y/n) though I was to blind to see it until after you left me. Would you give me a second chance?"

"As long as it's just you and me, I'll give you a second chance Tesoro" Our lips meant once again before he started walking of out the room and towards the ship, he arrived on. "You wouldn't regret it (Y/n) I wouldn't ever let you down again. Shall we return to Gran Tesoro?"

"Yes, let's go home Tesoro"
