Flashback...

"(Y/n)... we can't be a couple anymore" I was staring at Smoker as the tears ran down my face, though I understood why he said it. "You were always a stickler for the rules Smoker but I wish you broke them this onetime"

"Your being sent out tomorrow (Y/n), it wouldn't be fair to you even if we remained couple. I'll be here and you'll be somewhere in the Grand Line" As he started to walk out of the room, I grab his hand as I kissed him one last time. "I'm never going to stop loving you!"

Even though it was my room I left as Smoker just stood there, this man was my everything and I'll be damned if the Marines are going to spilt as apart so easily. Now I'd never quit the Marines but they were quickly becoming a thorn in my side. "How dare they!"

"Is something wrong (Y/n)?" As I looked to my left, I noticed my Father standing off to the side of the hallway with his ever-present frown in place. "Don't act like you don't know! How dare you take me away from the love of my life!"

"Calm down (Y/n), we have to leave. The ships waiting" He couldn't have just said we're leaving tonight; I was told we were leaving tomorrow morning. "W-What are you talking about!? We aren't scheduled to depart until tomorrow!"

He didn't offer me an explanation but he did say something that me want to kill him on the spot. "If you don't follow me (Y/n) I'll make sure Captain Smoker is stripped of his title and thrown into Enies Lobby for treason" Even though I wanted to kill my own Father in that moment I needed to restrain myself, at least for the time being.

"Good choice (Y/n)"

Three years Later...

Over the last three years I managed to gain my Vice Admiral rank but I still had one thing missing in my life, Smoker. A lot had happened since leaving the Polestar Islands (Where Loguetown is) but I think the most important event was that my good for nothing Father was killed by a pirate so I didn't need to do myself. Though another good thing that happened was my man had entered the Grand Line.

"Hey, Vice Admiral! We got those pictures of Commodore Smoker you wanted" I took my focus off of my paperwork before I went to see what my men had gathered. Taking the pictures, I started to drool over the shirtless man, I wonder if he's missed me as much as I missed him over the last three years? "There's something else Vice Admiral... you might want to sit down for this"

"What is it?"

"He's getting married"

Present...

"I object to this marriage!" I could see the shock on Smoker's face as I stared at him. The other's in the room were confused by my presence but stayed in their seats though some decided to speak up. "Vice Admiral (Y/n)! What are you doing here!?"

"I'm here to take back the love of my life" The bride spoke up and I could hear the angry in her voice but I didn't care I did my research so I knew who this girl really was. "How dare you try to ruin my wedding!"

"Oh honey, I'm not trying to ruin it's happening. I'd start running if I were you girl after all you're a wanted pirate isn't that right, Echo of the West Blue?" I could see the fear flash in her eyes as the Marines in the room drew their weapons, she could have lived a life in peace but she needed to try and steal my man. "You're a pirate!?"

Smoker turned to smoke as he kept the girl in place while the other Marines placed her in cuffs, I waved her goodbye as I set my sights on my man. "Smoker I missed you!" My feet moved on their own as I jumped into Smoker's arms. "You still love me after all these years?"

"Like I said before Smoker, I'm never going to stop loving you" I pressed my lips against his as some of the other Marines in the room clapped, though I'm sure it was only my men that were clapping. "What do you said Smoker, want to get back together? We can even take advantage of this fine wedding and tie the knot so no one can argue with our relationship like last time"

"I was going to ask you three years ago but then your Father showed up and broke us apart. Let's do it (Y/n)"
