Chapter 12| Phillip- Ice but Nice

It's been a little over a week. During that time, I was in the library studying all about Noble Michel. I've been learning so much about this country and the other countries I've visited so far. I even been taking notes in a composition notebook. There are even printed out pictures when I was able to go out and see what the countries had in store. Who knows, I might even turn this into a book one day. I always wanted to publish a book, so this might be my big break.

Before I left DresVan, Joshua and I exchanged phone numbers. He asked where he could listen to that song called Heaven is a Place on Earth since he said verbatim, 'the lyrics perfectly described how I felt when we were on our way to watch the sunrise.'

I ended up sending him a link to the song so he could listen to it anytime he wanted. That song really did perfectly describe how he was feeling, I just chose it to set the mood.

I heard someone approaching me from behind, turning in my seat to see who it was. "Oh, hey Theo."

"Hey. How's studying going?"

"It's going great! Did you need something from me?"

"I'm here to deliver this letter to you." He handed me a fancy looking envelope. I took the envelope, and noticed the Philip Kingdom crest on it. I opened it and started reading what was written.

To Lady Kendall of Noble Michel,

I apologize for being unable to invite you to my kingdom sooner than later. If you heard about the news, my country was in a crisis. Now, everything is handled and gradually going back to the way it was. I am able to properly invite you to Philip Kingdom as of now. I have heard from the princes, specifically Prince Roberto, that you have your own kitten. I do not mind if you wish to bring him along. I would love to meet your feline companion. You may provide your answer by calling me on the telephone number below. I look forward to hearing from you.

Prince Wilfred of Philip Kingdom

I saw the phone number, assuming it was his personal number. I took out my phone, and was saving that number in my contacts. I looked up towards Theo. "Seems like Prince Wilfred is inviting me over to his kingdom."

"Oh boy. Here we go again."

I ended up calling the number that was given to me. I was waiting for the other line to pick, seeing that the call was answered. "Hello? May I ask who is calling me?"

It was Prince Wilfred's voice. "Hello, Prince Wilfred. It's me, Kendall Carvalho. I just read your letter, and I'm getting back to you."

"I'm happy to hear from you. How have you been?"

"I've been doing great! How about you? I saw that your country is getting better now."

"It is, and because of that, I feel a lot better. And now, I'll feel even better if you called to say you'll be visiting."

"That's exactly it! I'm happily accepting your invitation."

"I'm glad to hear. What will work out best for you? Would you want Claude to come pick you up, or would your butler be able to drive you here?"

I looked up at Theo, he assumed what I was about to say and nodded. "I'll be able to take you."

"Thanks, Theo." I said, talking to the prince once more. "My butler will be able to drive me there."

"That's perfectly fine." Prince Wilfred responded. "How about this upcoming Saturday? The time doesn't matter. You may inform me about the time later."
