It was my favorite holiday of the year. Halloween! Seeing pumpkins and skulls everywhere was so refreshing to me. And what's Halloween without candy, costumes, and a party!

Tonight, there was a party being held at Noble Michel castle celebrating Halloween. I was in my room, putting on the costume I ended up getting this year. I think it was very appropriate, considering it's from one of my favorite games, and it looked like Noble attire. It was considered a school uniform in the game, and I even had a cosplay sword to go with it. I was my own student at Garreg Mach. Double checking my costume, I nodded in approval and headed out of my room.

Making it to the grand hall, I saw that no one was wearing any Halloween costumes. They were all only wearing masquerade masks. Well that's no fun, what's the point of Halloween if you don't dress up even a little bit?!

Looking down at my costume, I was confused if it would still be appropriate or not. It didn't look indecent or weird, like I said, it looked royalty so I think it should be ok. Taking a deep breath in, I walked into the party.

I instantly spotted the six princes even with their masks on. Smiling, I walked over towards them, not facing them on purpose. "Gee... I wonder where the princes are? I haven't seen them yet."

"We're right here, you know." Glenn spoke up.

"I know it was you guys. I was just being sarcastic."

Roberto cheerfully smiled. "You look so cute in your costume, Kenny!"

I smiled while grabbing the skirt part and twirled it. "Why thank you!"

"Who are you supposed to be?" Edward asked.

"I'm my own character who's a student from one of my favorite video games." In truth, I did write a self insert for this specific game. I'm bringing my character to life in more ways than one.

"That's supposed to be a student uniform?" Joshua asked.

I nodded. "Yes, it is."

"And that sword you have there... Is it real or fake?" Wilfred asked.

I giggled. "It's a cosplay sword, so don't worry. The blade is fake."

"Hmph. You're the only one who actually dressed up." Keith commented.

I lowered my eyes. "I thought people would dress up, but I guess not. Oh well, at least my costume is appropriate anyway."

Talking to the princes for a while, most of them had to go elsewhere for business. I would've thought at least Roberto would dress up. Maybe he wanted to, but he couldn't. But still... Today should be an exception to dress up in a costume for the party.

Letting out a sigh, I felt a hand on my shoulder. Turning around, I saw it was Roberto. Is he psychic, knowing I was thinking about him right now?! I raised an eyebrow at him. "What's up, Rob?"

"I could tell the whole time you wanted to ask us why we aren't dressed up for Halloween, right?"

"You read my mind."

"Trust me, I would've dressed up in a costume, but since this isn't the place for it, the best I could do was wear this mask."

I pouted. "I'm going to have a talk with my great-grandfather to bend that rule."

"It'll be a miracle if it could happen." Roberto slyly smiled at me. "But don't worry, I have a plan where we can all dress up later."

I perked up. "What kind of plan?"

"Since the butlers are occupied with a lot of things since it's the end of the month, we can use that as our advantage to go to someplace where we can dress up and have fun. I heard of a nightclub that's throwing a Halloween party, so I plan to go there with the guys, but... I need a way to convince them to go along with it."
