(A/N: Upcoming spoilers for Keith's route.)
It's been a good minute since I last traveled. All of the princes have been busy as of late, so the most I could do was text them whenever they could catch a breather. I just been occupying my time in Noble Michel's library to catch up on my studies. I think I already went through quite a few bookshelves worth of studying.
The prince who was struggling the most right now was Prince Keith. His country was going through a huge financial crisis. I read all about it on my phone, and it looks so bad. It looks even worse than Prince Wilfred's crisis, and his problem is all better now. Prince Keith's situation would be getting better by now, but I heard he doesn't want any help from the other countries, and I'm just like why?
I was eating breakfast with my great-grandfather while Zain and Theo were on standby. Noble Michel was reading the newspaper regarding the news about Liberty Kingdom. "You have heard about Prince Keith's situation, yes?"
I nodded. "I have. It's a mess."
"I agree. I did offer my aid, but he refused it."
"But why? Why doesn't he ask or accept any help from the other countries when he obviously needs it?"
"It is because the prince believes his people and his country are independent where they do not require assistance of any sort."
"It's good to be independent and all, but he can't expect his people, his country, or even himself to think he doesn't need to ask for help in a time of need. Especially now."
"I agree, my dear. And that's why I wanted to ask something of you."
"What is it?"
"I would like for you to assist Prince Keith with his financial crisis."
I nervously gulped. "Helping a person out is one thing, but I don't know anything about helping an entire country."
"Ho! Ho! You don't have to do anything major. All I ask is for you to be at his side in his time of need, and help him realize that there's no shame into asking others for help."
"So, in other words... You want me to help him realize some things? Not necessarily trying to think of a way to help with this crisis?"
"Exactly. I feel like you're the right person to ask to help him take on a new outlook. I feel like that way... It will help him out with his country's crisis."
"I think I get it. Basically, I'm an outsider and know how common people live, so my point of view will hopefully help make things clear for him."
"You hit the nail right on the head! What do you say? Will you travel to his kingdom this weekend to help Prince Keith? I will inform him about your arrival if you agree."
I nodded. "I'll do it."
"Thank you very much, my dear." I'm not sure how my influence will help him since he's the prince I'm least close with. Not gonna lie, he is pretty intimidating, but I'm not going to let that affect me in any way.
After breakfast, I was outside enjoying the fresh air. Theo was with me as well. "You know you're going to be entering a lion's den, right?"
I snorted. "Is it because his hair looks like a lion's mane?"
"That, but he's the most intimidating prince out of all of them. He doesn't take any crap from anyone, so... Good luck trying to get through to him."
"Gee thanks. I'll try to figure something out when I'm over there. Hopefully..."
"It'll be a huge accomplishment if you do. He even refused the old man's help."
