The walls were bleak and white, the room was small but not cramped.

In my room was a plain metal frame bed in the corner. On the other side of the room was my bookshelf, on which were books of every topic; science, literature, math, folk tales, and more.

The books were more than just a passion, all I knew was from them; from the fall of Rome to the fall of the iron curtain, from Plato to Sigmund Freud, thousands of years of history and thought were recorded for me to indulge. Of course, these books weren't folded paper bound by a leather shell, but rather an electronic cartridge I plugged into a display.

Also on this panel, I talked to a man I called Dr. Fereas. I knew Dr. Fereas as far back as I could remember, he was always inspiring me to be a healthy, happy, and knowledgeable young woman.

The time displayed on the panel was 8:28, Tuesday, the third of June, and my bi-weekly check-up with Dr. Fereas was about to commence. The conduit was just low enough that I could sit down and view it uninterrupted. I switched to the camera program, for now, it was a blank screen, and my only chance to see my own reflection.

I wore a snow colored gown with pale blue dots on it, and my hair was frizzy, and naturally a dark purple colored, according to Dr. Fereas this is a sign of psychic powers. My appearance was of little concern to me, but to those who I read, it was everything to them.

Just as expected the camera switched on to Dr. Fereas's workstation. This was a room with white tiles on the wall and an array of monitors blinking and beeping in the background.

Occasionally I could vaguely hear voices in the room but if there was anyone else they never spoke with me.

Unlike most times, Dr. Fereas was distracted with another monitor to the side, when the camera view came on, and Normally he would be ready to talk.

I was confused "uh, Dr. Fereas?"

"Oh is it 3:30 already... uh I apologize"

Dr. Fereas turned and looked at the camera while adjusting his white lab coat.

"So what was so interesting over there" I inquired.

"There was... uh... I received an alert about an electromagnetic disturbance" he glanced back at the other monitor "it should be nothing...but I better keep it in check... Let us begin our check-up"

I just nodded and sat patiently.

Dr. Fereas scratched his chin hair and looked back at the camera, "as for the dreams you have had, the past days... do tell" he took out a notebook and pen.

I cleared my throat "On Saturday I was taken to a word of primitive, plant-like people...I think they referred to themselves as the Enguriu, and uh, the sky was bright pink, the ground was blue and orange and it all smelled like flowers"

Dr. Fereas quickly jotted in his notebook.

"It seems the Enguriu were being bombarded by a meteor storm, this devastated their crops... and they were on the brink of extinction because of it"

"And yesterday I visited a battle-torn city under siege by large flying squid-like creatures"

Dr. Fereas uttered "Oh dear"

I shifted my legs to a more comfortable position "it seems the inhabitants were unable to keep the invasion under control... as only minutes in a large blinding light flashed in from a distance, and the next thing I knew I was standing in miles of burning debris, and ash"

Dr. Fereas had a concerned look on his face "hmm the end of a civilization... I would feel sad, but such an event is, unfortunately, not one of a kind in such a vast amount of dimensions, and realities."
