Dead Bodies.

They were falling from the sky like fallen angels, unmoving, unresponsive as I try to check if at least one of them is still alive.

Crippling fear ran through my still frozen body, there wasn't one alive and they just kept coming.

I screamed.

I woke, but as I started regaining consciousness, the break in the barrier started to close.

I became a normal teenager once more.

Sighing, I walked through the majestic gates of my high school, I felt as if I didn't even get a wink of sleep. Shanna and my baby cousin left early this morning since they have some business to take care of.

"Hey, don't you look like shit," Noted, I thought as I turned to the girl who said that- of course Diamond Oswalt with that damn sadistic grin.

"Why thank you for telling me how I feel." I bit back, I seriously wasn't up for her bullshit today.

Especially after I dreamt about something I couldn't remember, which to me is unacceptable. I always remember my dreams and research them after.

Whatever, just thinking about it makes my head hurts.

I walked down the many stairs to the auditorium since Fridays meant general devotions, these many stairs-

"Anna, this is Cia, isn't she tall" I looked at the girl being described and may I say, I was perked up to realize this girl was the one from yesterday that drew her boyfriend's name on her hand.

"Yeah, she is, its funny all of that annoying you yesterday and I didn't ask you your name." I told her with a smile.

"Well now you know," She replied with a shrug.

"Oh great you two have already met." Diamond said, she must have forgotten we are all in the same class.

We walked in the school's auditorium, filling our ears with loud chatter of bickering children. We stood where we were supposed to.

Devotion commenced, but I couldn't seem to focus on what was being said. There were twirls and twist going on in the front of mind as the images formed in my sight began to fade.

I blinked as my eyes try to adjust to the darkness all around the room.

"Well would you look at that, sleeping beauty awakes," a scary scraping noise was picked up by my very attentive ears since my sense of seeing was useless at the moment.

I flinched to the the opposite side where the sound came from much closer.

"Why are you scared dear, you have nothing to worry about." It said right against my ear. My heart was pounding as fear cursed through my body.

"Who are you, what do you want,"

"My my, who am I you ask, but I'm you, we are one," It's voice suddenly started sounding like one of a female, "What I want is for you to let me in." Few specks of light began to make its way into the room.

I blinked as my vision began to focus, I hesitated as my eyes made contact with the thing that basically held me hostage in my own dream.

I gasped, trying to break free from the shackles as I tried to understand what the heck was going on.

"You see now, we are one and I need you to let me in!"

"Let me in!"

I screamed in horror as the splitting image of myself shouted at me with the cruelest grin I'd ever seen faded away.
