There comes a day when all kingdoms will divide and conquer one another.

There comes a day when you'll need the best warriors to fight on your side.

There will be a day when all the things you see will disappear behind thick fog.

This day is the day of Mother's funeral.

This day Father's eyes were lost, he no longer knew what was right nor who to talk to, his light was gone, his inspiration diminished.

He didn't listen to me without Mother by his side, my voice meant nothing when it came to speaking about matters of the Kingdom.

So I didn't bother, I knew my place, by his side nothing less nothing more.

As I sat there watching Father mourn over the loss of Mother I felt empty, she shouldn't have died so soon, there was people here who needed her.

I held Father's left hand in mine coaxing it in comfort but unfortunately he pulled away, I knew he eventually would do so.

"Chronx, do you think he'll be ok?" My bodyguard, Chronx was assigned to me from we were both teenagers, we love each other in many ways.

"Why wouldn't he, your father is a strong man."

I sighed, we were out in the garden after a difficult day, finally a breath of fresh air.

He must be ok, he has too much responsiblities not to. All he needs is a little push to feel inspired once more but not from me, his right hand man whom he trusts more.

But the shread of inspiration went as Father angrily rushed past the garden to his office.

I jumped up frightened as well, why does this day keeps getting worst. I hurried followed to find out what the fuss is about.

"Tell me what they are saying." My Father said, I was eavesdropping at the office door since I wasn't invited in.

"They are saying you longer fit to rule this Kingdom." That sounded like My Father's right hand man, Mr kitts.

"What?!" The king shouted.

"Since the Queen is now dead and she always helped you in negotiations and decisions, they said now you are basically useless."

"The Audacity of those people, I'll show them who is king!"

I wonder who they are talking about. It had to be someone serious. Someone courageous enough to pull something off like that and if they can then what else can they and will they do.

I was tired of eavesdropping but maybe I could hear some more meaningful information.

"You know the savages are predators, they take and take and they aren't scared of anything." The savages!? what the hell did we get our selves into.

The savages are people we never ever want to mingle with. They are the enemies of your enemies, the predators that kill without mercy.

I pushed the doors open in a pit of rage, "What the hell is happening?!"

"How rude of you to barge in so unannounced Princess." Mr Kitts said with a calm voice I knew too well. The voice he uses that turns Father's anger towards me.

I scoffed, "This conversation should not be happening behind closed doors."

Father slammed his hands on his desk, "Mira please leave, if you are needed we will send for you!"

"No your Highness please let her stay, her input may be of use to us."

"Very well"

Of course, he trusts his right hand man more than me. But I wouldn't fall for Mr kitts idiocies again, my inputs have always been stompt upon, yet I wasn't backing down this time.
