Summer's POV
"We made it! Good job guys!" I said as my teammates clapped and cheered around. I said out loud in encouragement, "Keep it up for our upcoming sales! Let's hit the higher target for next month!"
Everyone hi-five with each other as I rested my hands on the table and beamed, "So, Domino Pizza for lunch, guys?"
"Of course!" all of them said excitedly.
I said with a chuckle, "Alright, make sure get back to work after the pizza party!" I handed 200 bucks to Jason, one of my teammates.
His eyes widened who looks like win a lottery, waved the cash over his head announced delightedly, "We're not only enjoying our pizza parties, also can enjoy dinner parties! Wooo!"
Everyone cheered again as Jason's smile disappeared and sighed dramatically, "Well, guys get the hint. That's means we have to overtime today."
I shrugged lightly to see my long face teammates and said, "It's okay. Everyone can go home on time if you can make any sales today." I stared at Jason and smirked, "Except Jason. He promised that he will overtime today."
Jason gasped in disbelief as I patted his shoulder, "Your hard work will be much appreciated, Jason."
I walked away and leaving the meeting room as I heard him said dejectedly, "No way." With that, the room filled with waves of laughter by knowing I was making fun of him.
Nicholas was a sales agency manager since the day I started to work with him. He had taught a lot and was generous to share his experience with me.
As an insurance agent ain't easy during the starting point. Besides, I was in another town, and everything seems started from zero. I had a good mouth, but I also had to learn to be patient and shameless for this job.
Back in the first year of this job, I had to go door to door to sell the product. Somehow, I had been chased out by the people, thankfully I was still alive after chasing by dogs, or threw the brooms, disgusting water, and anything.
I always bear in mind that I had made a good connection with every single of my potential clients. Sales were like a chain. If they were happy with my attitude and service, they would recommend me to their friends or relatives.
I worked my ass off to gain clients, studied in the nighttime for learning new policies of the insurance, and there would have numerous tests for me to take.
I had spent close to five years get promoted to be a sales agency manager, and finally, I could open my branch. Part of my little dream came true, I could back to my hometown and started a branch to settle down with Lotte.
It's been a month since we shifted back to here. Once I came back here, the memories of Charli and I were coming back. Speaking of her, that's was painfully torturing me.
I had no contact with her for close to 6 years. I was being forced to change my mobile number since the first day I left Charli for that bastard's sake.
I didn't get back to Charli the soonest since I started my job because I didn't want to be her hopeless burden.
Also, I wanted to get success and made decent paid for my job before getting back to her since I met a great opportunity to get back my life.
Everything might change after 6 years between us. To be honest, I might be a little too late for that if I see her again.
I was wondering did she already moved on? Was she dating a girl or a boy? Was she married?
We were already 25 years old and Lotte was already 5. Maybe Charli already gets married to someone and had a kid like me? I hoped no.
I would never hope that we would end up like this. I had been through hell, worked my ass off to get my goal. I was ready to get her back to my life. Please be good for me.
