childhood friends?? (ranpo x reader)

its not that big of a change ch2

"y-yeah i remember you.." with saying that kunikida looked at the two of you.
"wait, you two know eachother?" kunikida asked looking away from his screen and closing it.
you and ranpo looked at eachother then at kunikida, you noded at the question and started to explain with the others in the offce at the time listening in which were dazai, tanazaki, atsushi, and kenji
"well i lived here for a few years with ranpo i was always a loner but i had one friend which was ranpo than when i was around 6 or 7 i moved with my family to tokyo leaving ranpo." i said the last part with a bit of regret and sadness in your voice. then ranpo hugged you,pulling you into his lap which startled you.
"uhm.. ranpo w-what are you doing?" you turned to him with a little blush on your cheeks and looked at him which was a bit hard cause you were in his lap
" i wanted to do this again like when we were kids you know?" he said it with sadness in his voice enough sadness that it hurt you knowing you left him..
ranpo continued "if you want i can let you go.."
"no i like this it reminds me of back when we were kids"  you said quiet but loud enough for ranpo to hear
"anyways back to the story." you turned back to everyone
resuming to the story ignoring the faces everyone was giving you and ranpo of dought that you two were just friends
"after my 20th birthday i decided to move back here cause i missed yokohama and well i missed ranpo as well.
" a light pink dust coverd your cheeks. starting to fiddle with your fingers kunikida chipped in "lunch break guys lets go" he walked out with tanazaki and kenji following him. Dazai and Atsushi came up to the two of us
"soo you sure you two are just friends~?" dazai chirped atsushi was just kinda there you know
"hey (y/n)?" atsushi as the sweet boy he is asked
"yeah, you need something?" i asked with a small smile
"i was just curious. what did you do before coming to yokohama?" he asked there was kindness in his voice
i wanted to tell him but instead i thought it would be fun to make a guessing game out of it.
"go ahead guess." i said another smile on my lips
"uhm... i would say that you would have been in school then woked at store for a little." he said a little unsure of him self.
"oya? well you got one of thoses right!" i said holding up a thumbs up
"i was in school for a while but after a while i started working at a boba shop." i said i could feel ranpos face lighting up as  i said boba
"Reallyy!? You can make boba (y/n)?" ranpos face had a huge smile plasterd on to it
"y-yeah i did for a little i still know how so if you ever wanna come over and i can make you some." i looked at him again a soft smile on my face
"yay! (y/n)s gonna make we boba~!" he yelled with exitment

TIME SKIP~

Its after  work and you and ranpo are heading back to your place. its kinda silent on the way there you talked about the last 12 years on the way all you could say is that you had this feeling but it wasnt like reuniting with a friend it was stronger than that it felt like reuniting with someone more than a friend like a lover or somthing youve never been in a relationship scince you moved so basiclly never and you never had a crush on anyone but today that changed

~~Ranpo p.o.v~~

on the way to (y/n)s house we talked about the last 12 years but on the way there the smile on her face was so cute and it gave me butterflys in my stomach it wasnt normal i havent had a crush on anyone cause ever since she moved away even a little before that ive had a crush on her no not a crush ive fallen in love with her. shes perfect shes as childish as me her (h/l) (h/c) hair is perfect and she can be serious when needed and she'll get me candy whenever i want well she did before she moved, and shes smart then we got to her place snaping me out of my thoughts
"we're here,ranpo!" (y/n) said as she unlocked it and opened the door
i walked in with her following behind me. She brought me to her room and sat down on her bed I think she noticed that i didnt know what to do so she got up and grabbed my wrist and sat me down on her bed then she sat next to me and hugged me she hugged me like there was no tomorrow i guess it was because she hadnt seen me in 12 years or something  but i hugged her back and gently pulled her onto my lap. I was pretty tired since i was working all day on a murder case so we fell back on two her bed then i noticed she was crying a little but she fell asleep i looked at the clock and noticed it was around 6:30 so i took off my over coat and put it over her so she wouldnt be cold and about 5 minutes later I fell asleep with her head on my chest, with her arms around my neck. My arms around her waist and our legs tangeled together....

wooo thats the 2nd chapter done this has to be one of my favorite chapters so far i hoped you enjoyed this chapter, i spent over 3 hours writing this but its worth it! T^T bai
