~~~~(Y/n) p.o.v.~~~~

i woke up to a gentle voice and a heart beat
"good morning! little detective. how are you feeling?" i opened my eyes to see i was laying on ranpos chest and holding his hand
"morning, im feeling fine right now why?" i looked at him with a face full of confusion
"oh,well, last night just before you fell asleep you were crying a little,and i wanted to make sure you were feeling good." he said with a small tone of concern
"yeah im fine dont worry it just....i missed you and at the time i started crying cause i was scared you would leave." i said a little flustered and sad
i got up a little, then he grabbed my wrist and said
"we have another hour till we need to get ready." i saw there was a little blush on his face
and he sat up after grabbing my wrist and pulled me into his chest his heart was racing a little i sat there stund for a few moments i felt his hand brushing through my tangled (h/c) (h/l) hair then he stopped and reached over to my bedside table grabbing my brush i kept there and started brushing my hair
"hey (y/n), can you turn around please?" i didn't mind so i did  he gentley grabbed my hair and started brushing

~~~~ranpos p.o.v.~~~~

i sat in my chair after doing paper work waiting for (y/n) to be done cause i wanted more boba, she made me some earlier today for me. then i noticed she was done but her screen was open and she had her head down on her desk so i got up to go check on her. she was asleep but it looked like she was having a bad dream so before i went down to the cafe i took my over coat off and put it on her back hopping that would help then i went downstairs. when i got there i saw kunikida and dazai fighting again and dr.yosano and atsushi watching the fight, i calmly walked over to them
"hey! wheres tanazaki?" i asked as i stood in front of the table. everyone looked at me like there was somthing off.
  "is something wrong? why are you looking at me like i have something on my face." i looked at them with confusion on my face.
" ranpo..? wheres your over coat?" yosano asked with confusion in her brown eyes.
i looked at her then carved a small smile on my lips.
"(y/n) fell asleep after she was done with her work and she seemed cold so i gave her my over coat to keep her warm" just as i finished telling the group the door opened and there she was (y/n) was walking torward us still wearing my over coat
"hey guys." she seemed tired so when she got over to us i pulled her into my body since she seemed like she needed it
"nhmph...ranpo....?" she said in a quiet tone
"yeah you need something" i asked but i already knew want she wanted. she looked up at me with her tired (e/c) orbs said
"can we go home? please im tired." i looked at her,i opened my eyes so she could see my emerald green eyes she loved so much.
"of course. lets go." i grabbed her hand and calmly waved back at my co-workers
"Bye guys we'll see you tomarrow." as we walked out of the cafe down the street to my place again by the curent time she had moved in with me so i guess it isnt really mine its ours.
thats when she collapsed  i looked back and quickly noticed she was bleeding from her side it looked like it hit a vidal organ so i quickly picked up my phone and dailed dr. yosano then she picked up
"hey ran-" i quickly cut her off.
"YOSANO I NEED HELP (Y/N) WAS JUST SHOT!" I shouted through the phone thats when i heard her running over to us we werent far from the cafe so it makes since that she got to us so fast.
"RANPO! WHAT HAPPENED" I heard her yell from a few feet she quickly ran over and started useing her ability
"I-i dont know we where walking but the got shot and collapsed" i started crying at the sight of her bleeding
dr.yosano sighed when she was able to heal her up enough to where (y/n) will live but we still got her to the hospital she when into sergery almost immediately
"she'll be fine ranpo i promise" as she said that we saw another person being brought in it ended up being dazai he was also shot but he was lucky and it didnt hit any vidal organs but he still had to go into emergency sergery.
