childhood friends?? (ranpo x reader)

the attack

its been a few weeks from when i was shot so i started to hang out and make friends with the other members of the agency and i had found out that kuikida and i where similar in some ways so i guess you could say we're like siblings at this point even thought it had only been a few wekks since i joined, but then everything stopped, everything was like a statue all around me, frozen in time. The only people I could see that weren't frozen was as follows Ranpo, Dr.yosano, kenji , kunikida and atsushi. Dazai was out on another job or something like that while I was using my ability cause we are being attacked by the port mafia (this was normal at this point). So I had used it to help with a plan even if dazai was here I can't touch him anyways he would just nullify my ability  "be undefeated by the people" "so does anyone have a plan?" I asked it wasn’t the best day for them to attack we had several jobs and cases to get through but they just had to try to kill us now. I blankly looked at kunikida and hinted something towards him. He gave me that look of 'no way if we do that it might hurt you' but I didn’t care kunikida sighed "okay listen up." kunikida started, he shot a look of worry towards me. "this is (y/n)s plan and im ok with this even though it worries me. But heres the plan"  he began telling everyone the plan. "what?! We're going to use Yuri as bait?!" Atsushi shouted he looked really worried to in an attempt to calm him down I told him ". no I'm not going to be used as bait I'm going to let you all stay in here and go around and take them down while I distract them I can still see into the space and activate it without me being in it." I looked at them while explaining I had a huge smile on while doing so "but yuri we can just take them down now though can't we?" Kenji asked in a very cheerful voice like normal but he had a serious look on his face "no, I need to be outside cause if there are this many people inside my space it takes up a lot and plus there are invisible walls in several parts of this spans and one of them is over in front of them." I explained way from my cheerful voice "so what we cant get over there anyways so what use is it for you to leave the space?" I heard yosano say "if (y/n) leaves then we will have free space to move around and the walls will be gone." I heard ranpo say as he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me onto his lap. "but ranpo how do you know this" kenji said. "oh easyy when (y/n) and a where kids we used to play in this space when she had to go home!" He said with a wide smile. "but (y/n), what use is it to keep me in here I can't fight." I was surprised when I turned around his emereld green eyes were open and he was serious  looking up at him and cupping his face "I know so you can stay here I don’t want you to get hurt so im keeping you here until then I know you might not get hurt but I don’t wanna risk that" I said getting off the table from where I sat on ranpos lap. And walking torwards the middle of the room "ok let's have this start." I said as I left the space. i then unfroze time for them. the black lizard was suprised "A teleporting abillity?!" i heard some one yell in shock the agency members did the following kunikida was the best at taking them down kunikida was fast on his feet and very quick and fluent in motion it wasnt the first time i had seen it before but i was normally busy beating the shit out of some of the gun men that came with the black lizard. "I get that they wanna take down the agency but i think they went over board on this one" i casualy said feeling a bit bad for the people in the black lizard.  "i wonder what made them tun to killing people" i asked my self quietly looking down as i cleaning the mess they made. "sorrow." i heard a voice from the doorway into the agency "oh dazai welcome back!" i said witha smile "yeah but i heard what you said (y/n) the question that you asked i know the answer to it and its quite simple" he said it so calmly that it freaked me out a little. "then what is it?" i questioned him with a very curiously said looking up at him "well.. its sorrow they think that its the only way or its not sorrow and someone took them in we'll use mori for example so lets say gin was a little kid and in an ally and mori found her and took her into the port mafia and then gin grows to kill people. you get it?" dazai finishes. "yeah i do thanks dazai!" i said after he finished looking up at him still with a smile, "(y/n)~ come onnn i wanna go homeeee!" i heard ranpo yell from his desk ready to go. "ok lets go" i said back "ok well, bye dazai i'll see you tomarrow!" i say to himm while walking to my black haired boyfriend that has a smile. we start to head out of the agency building "so ranpo are we going  straight home or are we going somewhere before that?" i ask kinda quietly "i wanna go homee im tireddd" he wined with a tired look on his face

we finally got home and i guess he forgot to take off his shoes cause he went straight to our shared room "Ranpo!" i yelled so he could hear me."yess~ my little detective!" he cooed loud enough for me to hear "please come take off your shoes please!" i shout again as i take off mine i stand up to walk to our room and i feel him wrap his arms around my waist "but i already took them off in our room~" i heard him complain i noticed he changed his clothes " lets go to our room please." i said turning around in his arms he quickly kissed me then let go for a quick second i could feel my face heating up. "whats wrong? did i catch you by suprise?" he asked playfully "y-yeah kinda" i manged to say but shyly a few seconds later i screamed at the feeling of someone picking me up "sorry but you looked tired and that kiss seemed to stun you a little so i decided to carry you to the room so you dont have you walk" ranpo said in a calm but playful caring voice. "its fine i promise you dont have to pick me up" i say befor putting my arms around his neck he was he was holding me princess style. we got to our room and he put me down on the bed "here" ranpo walked over to his part of the dresser and pulled out one of his shirts and gave it to me "i saw you earlier wrighting something down and i looked over and i saw that you were writing down that you wanted to wear on of my shirts so if you still want to you can." he said calmly but i could see that he had some blush on his face. i ended up putting his shirt on with some shorts and joined ranpo in bed cuddling up with him my head on his chest, my arms wrapped around hugging him, his arms wrapped around my waist and our legs tangeled together and we both fell a sleep

so i strated writinging this at 9:36 pm and i finished at 12:40am on a school night this is fun but whatever anyways good night yall and im sorry for not posting btw because of school and other things i havent had time or i forgot to  for this chapter it was somthing i used for a school assignment but i added a few things but anyways thats that good night yall have a great day tomarrow and a great night baiiii
