3rd person PoV
It had been a few days since they had rescued Annabeth and Artemis. Percy decided that it would be better if they stayed at camp for a few days. He was still fascinated by wintery wonderland the camp had become. He thought of nico, that poor kid was probably terrified, all alone. He had some free time so he thought of going to the lake which had some parts that were not frozen.
He ducked as a volley of snowballs flew overhead, crashing into the Hermes kids while the campers form the Ares cabin cheered. He spotted Annabeth and waled towards her.
"Hey Annabeth, wanna go for a walk?"
"Sure" she replied.
She was still recovering but she insisted she didn't want to spend all of the time in the infirmary. They walked in awkward silence, until Percy said," Are you sure you are Athena's daughter? Because you look a lot like Aphrodite"
Annabeth turned beet red. "Uh what're you saying, seaweed brain?"
He recounted his experience with Aphrodite.
"Do you know what that means? It means that you find me attractive" she said, still blushing.
"Oh uh um...yeah" Percy stammered. His face was red too.
The awkward moment ended when Grover walked in.
Grover PoV
I was just walking through the forest when I heard Percy and Annabeth walking together while Annabeth blushed like crazy. I decided to eavesdrop. I heard Percy recounting his experience with the love goddess. Little did Percy know that Grover was telling the entire conversation to the rest of the group at the taco stand. Zoe had been disgusted. Bianca had showed no reaction. Thalia was a mix of emotions. Like she would either kill Percy for crushing on Annabeth or be happy for Annabeth as she knew that Annabeth crushed on Percy.
I decided that I should walk to them so I could ask what was happening so I could see them stammering and blushing again. I swear on the gods that they should be a couple. The most oblivious couple on the universe.
