A year. That's how long it had been since my favourite student Annabeth Chase had transferred to a school called Goode High in New York for some personal matter. And today was the day I would meet her again. I had decided to leave the job in San Francisco High because of the salary cut. I had been trying to find available positions for teachers when my husband got a job transfer in New York. So I decided to apply at Goode High.
We arrived on a Friday morning in New York. We were going to be renting an apartment. It took us two hours place the furniture. We decided to take a break and sat down on the couch.
Then the bell rang. I sighed and got up. I opened the door to see a beautiful lady with blue eyes and brown hair. A man was standing next to her. He had salt and pepper hair and brown eyes. I noticed the lady holding a plate of cookies.
"Hi! I'm Sally Blofis-Jackson and this is my husband Paul Blofis. We're your neighbours" the lady says.
"Oh pls come in" I reply politely
We sit down and start to talk about why we moved to New York. Then the conversation turns to The Blofis family's past.
"So do you have any kids?" My husband asks.
"Yes, we have a son named Percy and he's 18 years old" Paul says
Sally says,"Don't forget Annabeth, she's like a daughter to me and she lives with us anyway" then she turns to me and explains" Annabeth is our son's girlfriend".
"Annabeth? As in Annabeth Chase?" I ask
"How did you know?" Sally says. Surprised.
"I used to teach her back in San Francisco!" I exclaim happily.
"You should meet hert right now" paul says
The four of us walk towards their apartment and open their door.
I see Annabeth straddling a bare chested teenager as they make out on the couch.
"Percy?!" Sally says loudly
"Annabeth?!" I add
They break apart from their intense make out session and stare at us.
"Oh um hey guys" the teenage boy, Percy says awkwardly while trying to cover his bare chest.
