"Fuck, that's gonna be hard, but I'm determined."

"I know you are, dude."

A couple (2) of days had passed since Soleil had spoken to Reece and found out about them being abandoned, making the older man become a parent to his little sister.

The moment that his friend had left his room, he started pondering what to do with the information that he had received. It had taken him a while to figure it out, but now he had.

The blonde man had found it strange that these seemingly loving parents just decided to up and leave their children.

He just had a looming feeling hanging over him that something strange had caused their departure. His decision was made now, he was going to talk to his King to ask for permission to go under and see if he could find something to give the Diaz siblings closure.

Heaving himself off of his bed, he made his way over to the joined bathroom and zoomed through his morning routine.

The Irishman had just finished wrapping the indigo coloured fluffy towel around his slim waist when a knock sounded from his bedroom door.

A confused expression spread across his pale face and tightened his hold on the makeshift knot that was holding the fabric from exposing himself.

Walking over to the wooden door, he unlocked it and grasped the door handle.

The person who had knocked let out a large gasp and when his grey eyes lowered, he let out a large squeak and hid halfway behind the door.

"L-Lia, what are you doing here?"

The caramel skin of Ophelia's face was painted a bright red as all the blood in her body seemed to migrate there to expose her blushing.

Lowering her eyes, in her habit, she quickly realised that was a bad idea as her eyes met the older man's covered crotch.

Brown eyes met pale ones, with both parties looking completely embarrassed at the situation and they felt like neither of them could move.

Remembering that he asked her a question, she opened her mouth to speak but it seemed like her voice had left her.

"I-I, um, I was coming to tell y-you that breakfast was r-ready and I had set aside a plate with all of your f-favourites so that w-when you came down, it would n-not have been eaten."

A look of surprise graced Soleil's features, but as quickly as that expression had arrived on his face, it left and was replaced by a fond smile.

Raising his free hand, he patted the midnight black curls that sat on top of the head of the occupant of his thoughts.

This little act of affection sent her cooling cheeks back up in flames and she returned the smile, all while trying to understand this mysterious feeling that was bubbling inside of her. The moment he removed his hand, she felt herself missing his warmth.

Before Ophelia could panic and run away because of the foreign feelings, his deep Irish lilt reached her ears.

It took a few seconds for her brain to register what he said, but soon she realised he had thanked her.

"Of course."

"I'll be down in about five (5) minutes, I just need to get dressed, okay?"

"R-right! I'll set up your spot for you."

"You're the sweetest, thank you again."

"O-Oh thank you and of course."

With that being said, the Hispanic woman hurried away from his door and to the elevator with her cheeks on fire.
