"Lia, I need to ask you for a favour."

"O-okay."

"My older sister's wedding is coming up and she is having a skating rink rented for her reception, but the problem is that I can't balance on the ice for shit. So, I was wondering if you would help teach me because you're amazing with the skates. I don't want anyone else to teach me, so please, will you help me out?"

"Of course."

*A day after 8*

Soleil was woken up by his phone ringing, which annoyed him greatly, especially when he saw the time that his brother-in-law was calling him.

Picking up the call, he growled out a low, "What do you want and five in the morning (5:00 AM)?"

"Well, aren't you a ray of sunshine?"

"What. The. Fuck. Do. You. Want."

"Okay okay, I'm calling to let you know that I found a lead on the thing that you asked me to look into. I'm on a flight to the destination now, so I won't need to fly over to you, okay?"

"That's good and fine. Now goodnight."

"Goodni-"

The blonde hung up the phone before the older man could finish speaking and he rolled back over on his bed, quickly falling back asleep.

The next time he is woken by a knock on his door, quickly checking the time, he saw that he had overslept.

Calling out to the person who was still tapping on his bedroom door to come in, he watched with tired eyes as Zia popped her head in.

Seeing that he was still wrapped up in his blankets, she let out a small laugh and quickly informed him that Astrid wished to speak with him.

Nodding, he waved at her and once she left, the Irishman fell back onto his pillow. Desperately trying to rub the sleep out of his eyes and stretched, releasing several loud groans when he fell his bones pop.

Slowly getting out of bed, he did his regular morning routine and then made his way over to his wardrobe.

He grabbed his dark purple t-shirt, a pair of black ripped jeans, his infamous leather jacket and threw on his combat boots.

He strapped his knives into place and also placed his guns into their holsters. Spraying on some cologne, he stuck back in his five (5) earrings and fixed his hair. Deeming himself ready, he grabbed his things and left.

"Good morning, Leprechaun."

Rolling his eyes, he looked down at the tiny Asian woman that was also known as Astrid Blix and stuck his tongue out at her.
Laughing, she waved for him to follow her to the dining room and told him to take a seat.

"Zia told me that you needed to speak to me."

"Yes, I do. The four (4) men that were tailing you yesterday are dead, but that really does not matter. Anyways, they admitted to why they were following you after a little convincing from me."

"Why?"

"They wanted to see if they could kidnap you and hold you for ransom."

"From the club?"

"Yes, they were a quartet of kidnappers that have been on the run for about eight (8) years now, well were on the run."

Chuckling, he shook his head at the trigger happy smile that was plastered across his friend's face.

He knew how much she enjoyed what she liked to call 'convincing' their enemies or anyone who tried to bring harm to the club.

Later in the day, around one-thirty in the afternoon (1:30 PM), Ophelia and Soleil had just arrived at the skating rink that Elias had rented out for the next few weeks for them.

They were allowed to be in there privately from two o'clock to five o'clock (2:00 PM - 5:00 PM).

They had gotten there a little bit earlier as the seasoned figure skater wanted her student to put on the skates and practice walking in them before heading out on the ice. The pair had just put them on and she started by demonstrating how to move.

After repeating it a few more times, she had him stand up and try. Surprisingly, he got the hang of it pretty quickly and this made the blonde happy.

He continued to practice just simple walking and taking backward steps for another half an hour (30 minutes).

The brunette soon leads him over to where they would be stepping out on the ice and she instructed for him to hold on to the handrails so he would not fall over.
He watched as she showed him how to move his feet one in front of the other.

Then he was to follow exactly what she did and he did them almost to perfection which made his shout in excitement.

This caused his teacher to giggle at how cute he looked. Soleil could not take his eyes off of the gorgeous woman in front of him.

The confidence and grace she exuded when she was in her element, he so badly wished that she would be able to be like this all the time, especially at the castle.

He knew that deep down that's all she wanted, however, something was holding her back and he so badly wanted to help her but he would not put any pressure.

Being shaken out of his thoughts, he looked down and met a pair of chocolate coloured eyes that sparkled with joy.

"Are y-you okay?"

"Yeah, I just got lost in thought."

"Oh, alright. Do you want to try and move without the guide rails?"

"Yes please."

Taking his hand, she slowly pulled him away from the walls that surrounded the rink and further out, closer to the middle so that in case he fell, his face would not smash again metal.

Still keeping hold of his hand, they skated together at a slow pace.

Ophelia giggled slightly whenever the older man stumbled slightly, but thankfully he never fell and that made her happy.

After about twenty-five (25) minutes of just slowly making their way around the entire space, she suggested he try without her holding him.

Soleil agreed and reluctantly let go of her hand, watching as she gracefully sped away to give him a little room.

Sliding one (1) foot forward, he started a nice momentum and was going pretty good for about five (5) seconds, then he went down on his ass.

"OW! SON OF A BITCH!"

"Are you o-okay?"

"Yeah, my ass is just bruised."

"Hahahahah!"
