"SOLEIL, LEAVE YOUR SISTER ALONE!"
"I'M GOOD, ATHAIR!"
"Why you-"
Haru and Auberon were sitting on their private family jet, across from their son, who was doing his absolute best to avoid their gazes.
The young Hispanic woman who was seated next to the latter was fast asleep with headphones on so she could rest in peace.
The quartet (4) were currently on their way back to Sweden after spending the last nine (9) days in Greece on a small family vacation.
The last few days were a breeze, but that could also be attributed to the fact Soleil had actively been avoiding his fathers.
Now that they were all confined to the rather large but still constricting area, with no room escape, he had resorted to just not looking at them.
In most persons eyes, it could be deemed a childish move, but he did not care. The younger blonde knew that if he even so much as acknowledged his parents, even just the slightest could prove to be fatal. There were so many unanswered questions that were swimming in mismatched eyes.
"Son."
"Soleil."
"MY DARLING CHILD!"
Wincing at the high decibels that his overdramatic Athair had yelled, he rolled his grey orbs into his head and sighed.
There was no way he could pretend like he had not heard them now, thanks to the living, breathing foghorn.
"What do you want? Besides to blow out my eardrums and make me deaf before my fucking seventy's (70s)."
*SMACK!*
"Ow! What was that for?"
"That was for answering your father in such a rude manner, just because you're twenty-four (24) doesn't mean you can be disrespectful. He was calling you because he is worried, that's all."
The cold-tone that accompanied a twin look from Haru had the Irishman regretting how he had answered his old man.
Deep down, he knew they meant well, but sometimes he felt like they still treated him as if he was a toddler, who could not be doing anything for himself.
Sighing, he met the mismatched eyes that belonged to Auberon, which were swimming with copious amounts of disbelief and hurt. Soleil had not meant to hurt the older man's feelings.
"I'm sorry, Athair. What was it you wanted to ask me?"
"It's alright, I know I can be a handful sometimes, but we were just wondering how everything was going between you and her?"
The ash-blonde followed his father's finger to where he was pointing at a slumbering Ophelia and unknowingly, the corners of his lips quirked up in a fond smile.
Turning his attention back to the older couple, he motioned for them to get up and follow him.
The trio (3) moved to the back of the plane so that they were out of earshot if the brunette was to wake up, but not completely out of sight that she could possibly freak out.
The Japanese man nudged his son with his elbow and told him to hurry up.
He started by telling them everything that had occurred in the recent events before the wedding and tried to catch them up to date as fast as possible.
When it came to telling them about what he had done to the disgusting man, he briefly hesitated as he knew it was not something his parents liked to hear about.
