Chapter 2: I'm Fine!

{One week After Chapter 1, this is where the story changed ('-ω-') . Note: Also Gold and Funneh lives in the dorms together and Lunar and Rainbow shares a different dorm.}

Gold POV:

"Funneh can we just talk about it?"

"I don't want to think about him anymore, stop bringing him up!" Funneh said.

"But you two were in love, you can't just give up on him like that!"Gold

"Do you not understand that he doesn't love me?! He got a new girl in his life, one that isn't me" Funneh said with tears in her eyes.

I can't believe Alec would do this to her. I thought they were in love. There is no way he is in love with someone else.

"Who is it anyway?" I asked out of anger.

"Does it matter?" Funneh yelled back. Her eyes were filled with tears.

"No...but" I started to say but was soon cut off.

"But you're curious huh? It is not really your business!"

"Yeah, ... it is not..."

Funneh turned away from me. Trying to hide her tears and anger. When her cell phone started to ring.

"I should get that, could be something important" She picked up her phone and answered it.

"Hello? Hello!?" Funneh says with anger in her voice.

"Sounds like the people got the wrong number and hung up," I tell her.

"No, it was Even number" Why would he call me and then hang up?

"Maybe he is in trouble, you could be the potato in shining armor?"

"Really?!"

I was trying to light up the mood, didn't think she would laugh but would smile at best.

"That is not even funny" She looks like she was trying to hide a small smile.

Funneh POV:

Gold was trying to cheer me up, she was always there for me no matter what. I know she will always have my back. I do wish the other were here too.

"Thanks for cheering me up or at least trying to"

"No problem, what are siblings for"

"Still, I wish I didn't fall for a boy who would only break my heart"

"He got you down huh?" Gold asked. I just nodded, I had no more words to say about him. He doesn't love me anymore, and maybe he never did. Why should I care? It is not like we were dating.

"I should go get started on my homework," I say. Trying to change the subject. Why should I spend any more time thinking of him!

"Wow, that's new for you," Gold said as she laughed. I'm glad someone can smile even if I can't.

"Yeah, yeah I would never study, but my computer broke down yesterday, I got to get it fixed," I told her.

"Oh, that sucks, well I gotta go. I got a date with Prince'' Gold says with the biggest smile on her face. She liked him, I thought Gold was too good for him.

"Okay see you later" I waved. Gold opened the door and left. I was home alone. But I didn't mind.

Gold POV:

I feel bad for leaving Funneh alone. But at the same time, I didn't want to miss my date with Prince. I'm sure she understands that.

Prince was waiting outside. He was wearing a black suit with a gold tie. He was holding a bouquet of yellow flowers. Somewhere roses and others were daisies.

"Hey," Prince says. He passed the beautiful bouquet to me.

"Hi, thanks for the flowers. Their beautiful"

"Not as beautiful as you"

I smiled. He is so kind. I must've found the perfect guy.

(Time Skip: 30 minutes later)

The date was going well. I and Prince walked around the garden, before going to the restaurant. The restaurant was three stars. You wouldn't have guessed by the way it looked. I thought it was five stars for sure. I guess you can't judge a book by its cover. We get a table for two. One right next to a window.

Kyran POV:

I walk up to one of the windows slowly. I heard about this restaurant. It's supposed to be fancy, not that I'm into that kind of stuff. But I'm sure it will be a great place to take Gold if I ever get the chance.

"I'll just take a peek to see what it looks like," I say to myself.

I can see fancy tables and chairs. Along with people who have dressed up. I also see a huge chandelier hanging from the ceiling. I move to the next window to take another look.

"What Gold? And... Prince???!"

I say surprised. I then ducked my head down, to make sure they can't see me. Of course, he brought her here. So much for that plan. I couldn't be sadder. Gold is always going to be a high school crush, isn't she?

Gold POV:

Did I just hear my name? I looked around the room, no one here, knows me other than Prince. I then looked towards the window. Nothing. This is strange, I guess I'm just hearing things?
